New management. Usually go around 1:30 pm weekdays. Quiet - appears to be family owned. Great food Great prices. Gone there 3x and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend.
I have been getting take out from here for years and have never had an issue. It's not the best I've had, but certainly not bad. It's my local "go to" chinese take out and we have quite a few in the area.

Try other places, but if we're close by or getting groceries, have to stop in. Been going there since they opened, don't really want to tell you how long that's been! And now I've got my husband and his friends swearing by it. Can't really say I have a favorite,as I have several! All I can say is try it.

Our Family has been going to Li Brothers from their initial opening many years ago. Going there feels like we are visiting with extended family. The food is always consistently good. The sushi is great. And they will accommodate suggestions on alternatives to ingredients. Take out is always a good option too.

We haven't been to TAO for several years, not sure why we stopped going, but now we know. I think I'll say the good points first. The dining room is quite open, minimalist decorations and quite clean. The wait staff was welcoming and quite helpful with our order. The egg rolls were excellent, crisp on the outside, really stuffed on the inside. We ordered teriyaki beef, sweet and sour chicken, shrimp in garlic sauce, and Buddha's delight. We were amazed at the size of the portions but disappointed with Buddha's delight, in that they were only steamed with no sauce or glazing on it.........quantity..........huge! The sweet and sour chicken was bland, and the shrimp in garlic sauce was good, however I wish that the waitress had told us that it ALSO came with veggies! We would have cancelled Buddha's Delight. There was so much food!!! We brought enough home for 2 more meals. Now for the "ugly" there is no barrier between the bar and sushi bar and the main dining room so when the customers in the bar, and the idle wait staff start clowning around the noise really carries into the dining room. Some of the topics were quite adult. As it was, the only folks in the dining room were my husband and I, luckily. The food was plentiful, the place quite clean, the wait staff welcoming, but we probably won't return. We have a wonderful take out Chinese restaurant just about a mile from our house with flavorful and inviting foods.

Good takeout option. The General Tso's chicken was crispy, but not spicy. Steamed dumplings were tasty but very thick and dough-y. Got a free can of soda because spent >$15. Friendly cashier. Lots of menu choices, so will be back to try other selections.

If you are lazy and live near Crystal Lake, then you already know how much of a savior this place really is. SUPER fast staff, enjoyable chinese classics, and right around the corner from the lake. Give it a shot, you can't go wrong with their combo plates and some chinese donuts for dessert! Slightly overpriced, but given it's location, I'd gladly drive two minutes and pay a bit more, rather than drive into Ellington Proper.

I have not been back to Iron Chef since Michael sold it to some of his staff. The food is still very good. I understand that they kept the same chefs. We had a luncheon special of shrimp with vegetables and all of us enjoyed it. The service was fast. Unfortunately because it is small the noise level is high. Because of that we frequently order take-out to eat in the quiet of our home.

You know how a lot of Chinese food joints are hit and miss? Some people love them some hate them? Well the Hong Kong Garden is a massive miss. Where to start....Food was low quality, over salted, and simply tasted bad. And to be fair I was only expecting "cheap takeout" quality. The restaurant itself was dirty and dark. It did not appear that basic standards of cleanliness are followed.I will never return. But who know, you may love the place...
If you want delicious food, order here. The staff is very friendly and have food cooked in no time. Nice variety on the menu. Their egg rolls are so good! Convenient location, we usually dine at home, but they have tables to eat there as well. Never disappointed.
