We recently went to Joey garlics and had a really good dinner. Itâs not my choice for authentic Italian they do have better than average Italian food. The service was good there were seats available we didnât have to wait in the handicap access was excellent. A young woman was saving two seats at the bar for friends, which really is nonsense. Bartenders didnât want to interject.Thank you so much for visiting! I couldn't be happier to hear you enjoyed your dinner with us! I'm sorry if your experience was anything less than perfect in the bar area. Our bar is self-seating, and I apologize if that put a damper on your visit. I hope we will get another chance to welcome you back for another delicious meal!

Highly recommended through Eat in Connecticut facebook group. Attended on a friday for happy hour and was impressed. Great local spot. Tables were packed with families as well as a singles crowd, so a good mix and comfortable for all. Sat at the bar and ordered off both the happy hour and regular menu. Great prices on both menus. Happy Hour drinks $5, Titos on Tap and a great variety on menus. From wings to dinners. Service was good, even at a busy time. Stage area for bands, so looking forward to going again when there is music. Has a vibe that is a combination of sports bar and a country bar. Highly recommend. Add to your list of Happy Hour must haves!

We went there for drinks and to hear the band. Katie, our server, was amazing. She couldn't possibly have been any better! My friend ordered a pumpkin pie spice martini and was in heaven.The atmosphere is loud and the place is huge. It is a typical sports bar but everyone was friendly and having fun.

Was there for a summer open mic night to catch a friend and enjoy a quick bite.Dining area with open mic setup was logically too small for such an event.Was hard to enjoy the performances and food under tight conditions.Food was good and drink prices were on the low side.

Went for drinks and an appetizer waitress was pleasant when we saw her , felt a little abandoned waited way too long between visits to the table not sure if was staffing related but service was not great ,food was good and so were the drinks

My experience started off badly when the server greeted me wearing a nose ring.....VERY unappetizing!! So much so, that I nearly got up and left. My burger was good (not great) and my fries were cold. The server never stopped by to ask about my food or if I needed anything. I had to stop another server to ask for a refill on my soft drink.

A business associate chose Carbone's Prime for a dinner while visiting the area. The server has been with Carbone's for 19 years and was part of a great evening as she made great suggestions. The Sicilian meta ball as a starter and the procshutto and burrata was terrific. The veal part was extremely tender. Great Canolli for desert.

Stopped for happy hour (3-5 M-F) with family/friends. The restaurant itself is bright and cheerful. The booths hold 6 comfortably. Bar chairs are padded with a high back. The bar itself "loops" around at on end - a favorite feature of mine - it enhances interaction with other patrons (vs. sitting in a straight line, which doesn't easily accommodate discussions beyond those to your immediate left or right). There are a number of flat screen TVs around the bar/restaurant area. On the walls are shirts and pictures of a number of famous Boston team players, including shirts of Orr, Brady, Bird, plus a picture Ortiz upside down as he went over the wall to catch a ball.. To see the large selection of comfort foods and entrees, i suggest you go on-line and look at the menus. During Happy Hour, there is a selection of "full size" apps for $5; domestic beer (16 oz.) $2, premium $3; house wines $4. They are simply too numerous to list here, including seasonal specialities.Michelle, the bartender the afternoon we were there, is professional, attentive, friendly.Most bars/pubs have the same or similar line of comfort foods and drinks - one differentiator being the staff - in this case Michelle - she made us feel like family - we will return.

Celtic is a very special place, and always my first choice for both dining or grabbing a drink at the bar, with family or friends, for social or business. The food is unbelievable (thanks, Bill), and the house is the friendliest ever (thanks, Brandon). And the staff is professional, attentive, and just fun and welcoming. Too many to list - but Lauren, Chris, Sara, Kasey, Lexi, Courtney, Ang, Mea,Taylor, to start. - thanks guys!
