We go there on Friday evenings and have never been disappointed. If it's ambiance you want, this is not the place. However, the food is well above average and the prices are reasonable. If you go there, maybe i'll see you next Friday.

This restaurant has recently opened in the area. We've been here twice now. The first time for sushi and Chinese, the second time sashimi and Chinese. Happy with the food both times. Service is excellent, the front of the restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated. The sushi/sashimi counter is separate from the cooking area. He puts on a good show. Few small tables. Mostly take out. They have some different Chinese items that aren't on our usual places menu. I ordered the house special chop suey. Great vegetables, but the meats and seafood were on the blander side. Needed to "jazz" it up at home with soy and sarachi. The sashimi was beautiful! And very good. Probably won't replace our regular Chinese restaurant, but when we are in the mood for sushi/sashimi or something not on our regulars menu, this is where we'll be. Try it for yourself!

Weâve come to this plaza a few times and noticed the restaurant - finally tried it. They offer plentiful foods for reasonable prices. Very tasty and very authentic. All kinds of Thai curries and many specialty dishes. Was impressed that they offer sticky rice in addition to brown rice.Would definitely come back.

Chiangmai Restaurant is in a small space at 166 Church Street in Naugatuck, CT. The decor isn't as nice as other Thai restaurants that I've been to. It's similar to a poorly decorated diner but the food is amazing.Beautifully plated with great artistry and the flavors are huge. Your brain will be on overload after all the tastes you'll experience, but in a good way. My wife and I enjoyed our dinner with my sister-in-law and friend Al.Al introduced us to this little gem.I had the Tom-Yum soup with shrimp. Thai hot and sour soup with a broth filled with lemongrass, galangal, onions, peppers, tomatoes, kaffir lime leaves, and mushrooms. My flavorful dinner was the Chicken Panang Curry. Spicy panang curry with coconut milk, kaffir lime leaves, and mixed veggies with a side of jasmine rice. My wife's fried rice dinner was decorated with a butterfly cut from a carrot. After dinner we were presented with a complimentary slice of watermelon. We couldn't resist having dessert and I had a dessert with my favorite fruit in it. The sweet mango with coconut sticky rice. My wife had the fried banana pockets with passion fruit sauce. The restaurant is BYOB so make sure to bring a nice bottle of wine or whatever you may choose to compliment your dinner.

I have been to Tomo and also have gotten to go before. Unfortunately this trip was not worth it. I ordered shrimp pad Thai. It was awful. The shrimp all small 4-5 of them were over cooked. The noddles and sauce were ok but not great. I also ordered the spring rolls and those were very good loved the sauce they give you. I will try Tomo again but no for awhile..Hi, my name is Jin th owner of tomo 68. I am so sorry about the bad experience you have for take out. I will talk to the chef and correct the problem. I will like to ask if your will get us one more chance. we will give your a free pad Thai shrimp. Just show us the review or ask for Jin. Again I am sorry about it

The restaurant world in the Naugatuck Valley has been degenerating for the past 4-5 years. Chinese food: terrible; Italian food: Awful. For some unknown reason, people here seem to think that pizza is actually food. Then along comes Thai Dish. They bought a restaurant that was offering the most basic of fast food to suit the Valley taste. Surprisingly wonderful, fresh, clean and customer-caring is this little establishment. Everybody orders the Pad Thai. That's about as far as Thai cuisine gets around here. However, I would suggest that you simply tell the owner what kind of spices you like, hot, mild, etc., and then let him truly surprise you.Their food is excellent on all levels. Fresh, crisp, delicately seasoned: It's like eating in a really great Chinese restaurant that simply substituted peanut oil for their cooking experience. There is no Chinese food in the Valley. We've tried them all: bland, uninspired, crap.Thai Dish is God's gift to this tragic dining region. Go quickly there and be equally amazed at the quality of their offerings.

Bought General Tso Chicken, honestly? Tasted more like hot wing sauce. And even with that, it tasted as if it came out of the jar. The chicken didn't look like real chicken, They were all uniform, like eating a meatball. Been to this restaurant many times, but this has to be the worse I've come home with in awhile. XXX

This take-out restaurant has been in operation for many decades. On premise family operated. Orders are filled accurately and efficiently. Food is good to excellent. Price is no bargain but reasonable. Their has been no change in quality or efficiency for a very long time. For take-out or a quick snack at the few tables, if you like American-Chinese you can do no better in this area.

This place has really good sushi rolls, and for the quality of the food it isn't overpriced. There are many restaurants in Seymour and the Valley area that are overpriced and the food isn't even all that great... I've always gotten excellent, fresh food from Karaku and will definitely keep going in my 'every now and then' fashion...

I came here for an early dinner on my commute.I ordered the steamed shrimp with veggies ($11).I decided to eat in as they have plenty of booths. Only it was a hot day and the room was not air conditioned. It was ready in 5 minutes and was a very good meal that was filling.
