The Abbey Restaurant is great choice for lunch or dinner. Good menu offer. Seating indoors is in a nice setting with Celtic-stylized decor, very pleasant. I always like sitting outdoors and they do have nicely protected outdoor seating with tables shaded by umbrellas. The service was good. We enjoyed bacon cheeseburger of really good quality and presentation and their delicious signature Abbey burgher. Will stop again when in New Milford.

My husband an I decided to try Dagwoodâs at its new location for dinner on Monday night. We decided to eat at the bar because we like to chat with the bartenders. Well this bartender, young blonde girl, was so unfriendly. After taking our order she just stood there with her arms crossed watching us eat, very uncomfortable. When another couple sitting at a nearby table ordered a margarita and a martini she got totally overwhelmed, and that was the only other table in the restaurant. Also the young male staff were just kind of hanging out behind the bar, some even on their phones, very unprofessional. The food was just OK probably wouldnât rush back.

This is a one of a kind very short seasonal roadside hamburger joint run b the same New Preston/New Milford family for many generations. Very short lunch and dinner timing windows. Slow down heading north on CT Route 202 approaching New Preston, if you blink, you will miss it on the right (unless the parking lot and all the outside picnic tables are full. Note: Outside and take away dining only. Love it in a pinch!

Hometown family restaurant with a "Batman" theme! Fun place for the entire family. Varied menu with everything from soups & salads to full dinners. We have an Early Bird Menu every day from 4pm to 7pm. Tuesdays are our "Chicken Night" with a special menu
We have been here quite a few times over the years, and have had mostly good experiences. They absolutely do an excellent breakfast. In particular their many varieties of eggs benedict are almost always very good. They can expertly handle a large family party. The atmosphere is a bit quirky with all of the Batman memorabilia, but the kids like it.

One of the best in town. Awesome fresh squeezed OJ. Service is good. Standard diner fare. Their desserts look amazing. Worth going back just to try them

If you LOVE a great breakfast with farm to table fresh ingredients... donât miss this gem. The scones and coffee are noteworthy... but the quiche was spectacular! Goat cheese, spinach and tomato... delicious. My husband had a beautiful custom omelette stuffed with fresh veggies. So good!

Featuring exceptional drinks and mouthwatering tapas, Zaragoza is a sophisticated restaurant experience where guests can enjoy small bites â tapas - to be shared with friends and family in a comfortable setting.
Our experience was average. We enjoyed the tapas better than the actual dinners and felt the service could have been better. The staff seemed to be more interested in their cell phones than the tables and people in their dining room.Hi there,I apologize you did not have a good experience with our staff. Our policy is strict no cell phones during work hours, so I will be having a chat with the servers ASAP. The lack of service is not acceptable and we have higher standards than that. I hope you will give us another try so we can make it up to you.Thank you!

Pleasant room and two wines from their wine by the glass list were both excellent. Friendly waitress as well.Food was decidedly unimpressive. I had the Iron Rail Burger -- nice burger but their beer/cheese sauce was slathered on massively but utterly tasteless. I don't believe they melted cheese whiz to achieve this but they might as well have.My wife ordered a salad with sushi-grade tuna. It might have been sushi grade tuna but she doubted it got more than a C-.We wanted to like the place, we are in New Milford occasionally and need a quick dinner. But food doesn't match the rest of it.

This was our first time eating here. They had nicely decorated dining areas- 3 levels. On their menu they had starters, soups, salads, sandwiches- pulled chicken, pork, duck, burgers, steak, bbq smoked chicken, ribs and desserts. My husband and I had the smoked chicken platter. I had a side salad and baked potato with mine($2 add on). My husband had mashed potatoes and dirty rice. He also had onion soup. The chicken and onion soup lacked flavor. My baked potato was either old or over done. The biscuits and mini corn muffins were the only thing that tasted good. We did have good service.

New Milford and the surrounding area has some great diners. In terms of modern art deco glitz, you have something grand like Diner Luxe, and then, in the town center itself, you have something unassuming like Theo's. This was the first time we had been there and it was based on a recommendation. The restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch, but seems to do great business and has lots of regulars. The breakfast was great - the home fries in particular were among the best I've ever had at an American diner. Also, friendly service and the food came out fast and piping hot.The diner doesn't have its own car park, but there is some on-street parking outside and a car park directly across the street. We would definitely go here again.
