Wife and I needed a lunch on our way to the Berkshires. Based on recent reviews, we decided to try Foxtail. A good choice for us....we shared a plate of fresh, stir fried veggies and a veggie burger. This was good foodââ the veggies were done perfectly with lots of oriental flavor. Veggie burger on a nice bun was homemade and delicious. Good service, clean restrooms and quality food and daily made ice tea....top notch....recommended.

Lasalle Market is still a wonderful place to have lunch and sit and relax. Very casual dining room mismatched tables and chairs that make the space interesting. Lots of local folks. Displayed in the dining area are works of local artists for sale. Food is very good. We shared a portobello sandwich: nicely prepared on very fresh bread. Great coffee and great selection of other beverages. Pizza baked in house available. Great lunch spot.

So going to the same old same old restaurants in the valley is getting boring but not Francesca's. Had one of the best meals ever last night. The service is beyond friendly and helpful. The gnocchis with white truffle cream sauce was spectacular. The scallop special was to die for. My wife had it with the risotto that was offered with the Halibut. It was great. The halibut also was awesome. The wine prices are very reasonable. Love the quaint atmosphere. It is perfect. Hope it does not get too busy when people find out about it.

Haven't been here in quite some time, it was as good as I remember....no wait and our server, Lauren was very attentive. The fried oyster appetizer was outstanding. We both chose a "special" (although that didn't mean a special price and price is not mentioned when the specials are read) I had a generous piece of salmon with a BBQ glaze and mango salsa over mashed sweet potatoes. Very good. My husband had a creamy lobster and shrimp combo over pasta, also good, very rich. The family style salad was crispy and fresh. Bread appears to be homemade. Unfortunately, we didn't save room to try dessert. The crowd on a Tuesday night speaks to their success.

Itâs always wonderful to visit this restaurant. Itâs our family tradition to come here and have lunch after a Christmas tree hunting. The food is delicious with generous portions. I would recommend this. It is spacious and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Clean and good ambiance.

This was our second visit here. Enjoyed our first a couple of months ago, good pub food and interesting building layout that separates dinning room, performance area and separate small quiet bar. Unfortunately this was a bad night for them, waitress admitted to being massively understaffed on a Saturday night. Food took well over an hour to get to us and then it was terrible, only a faint impersonation for our first time. Obviously the 3rd stringer cook was in the back. All places have nights like this but when its this bad apologies are not enough. Owners / managers need to be present to take the heat and run damage control and /or empower the wait staff to handle things. On nights like this, items need to start getting complimentary and maybe the whole meal. Restaurants can't afford reviews like this. Last time we ran into an evening like this in a well reviewed place in upstate NY the waitress ripped up the check. I will consider going back there, not so for Parrot.

Organic, local food. Huge selection of teas. Large selection of vegan and gluten free options. Open Mike: 7 to 9 pm on Fridays. Local Music Sundays at 1:30. Gather with Community!
Sipping good tea, eating fresh organic food, and sitting at one of Passiflora's cozy window seat tables while local musical artists perform is a lovely, relaxing way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Bridgestreet Libations and Temptations lends itself to the easy to remember acronym, BLT. Go there to enjoy a unique and comfortable setting with a quality dinner that at least matches the quality of several restaurants in the Farmington Valley or West Hartford. An out of town foodie friend researched and found BLT, just 15 minutes from Avon Mountain for us, locals who hadnât realized it was open. If youâre a skier, itâs 5 minutes from Ski Sundown. On a Saturday following the holidays, the bar area was full at 6p and the restaurant side where we sat was full shortly after that⦠not bad for a typically slow time for eating out immediately following the holidays. You wonât find a BLT on the dinner menu but you wonât miss that. The evening menu was not extensive but the choices were well tuned for winter dining for a variety of tastes. The red wine braised short rib lived up to hopes for a hearty dinner on a cold January Sunday. The short rib was flavorful and tender. It was served with a grilled oyster mushroom that Iâve not had elsewhere - very good matching with beef and root vegetables with potato puree. My companion selected the salmon, starting the new year with a healthy choice that did not disappoint. We shared the lardo toast as an appetizer and the chef was happy to tone down the garlic (the pickled vegetable added a tartness that worked for an appetizer, even though one of us would not usually like pickled anything). Oh - for cocktails, an espresso martini was spot-on, made, we were told, with a Vermont-sourced liqueur, no Baileys. The other drink, âNobody puts baby in the cornerâ was well named, but emphasized a briny component a bit much for tastes (to be fair, it was properly described and we may have been seduced by the clever name). I admired the casually elegant setting and appreciated the lighting - so many places get that wrong with too much white in modern lighting choices. BLT delivers good ambiance and satisfying dining that was not rushed. And a review would not be complete without reference to our excellent server, Brian. Attentive and cheerful, he engaged in just the right amount conversation and timing for checking back with us. The owner stopped by too, a local who has owned other restaurants. We will be back.

Yes, this looks like a diner in a strip mall, but do not think that the food or service is ordinary. Open for breakfast + lunch only, the New Hartford Diner offers exceptional meals at reasonable prices.Their seafood specials are extraordinary! Even their vegetables are local and very fresh!

I requested a seat outside because itâs a beautiful day. I was given a menu. 10 minutes went by during which two other parties were seated outside. A waitress finally appeared And proceeded to take the order of a couple that arrived after I did. After taking their order, she looked right through me and proceeded to take the order of a group that had also arrived after me. I pointed out to her that I had arrived first, At which point she asked me what I wanted, and I said nothing. As I got up to leave I heard this waitress and the larger group laughing. Not so much as an apology for leaving me sitting there for 10 minutes as if I were invisible. I will never eat here again. Extremely rude service.I am sorry that Caitlin did not approach you first when she got out to the Deck. Unfortunately our bartender scheduled for Thursday lunch called out sick forcing Caitlin to set up the bar and the restaurant with help from me. There were a number of customers who had just sat at the bar and tables inside the pub when you walked in as I was leaving to pick up some plant at a local nursery with a landscaper who had arranged to take me to the Nursery and help select plants at their annual customer appreciation day. Of course being short one employee puts a strain on service and we did manage to get another server to come in early to help, but he did not arrive until 30 minutes after you left unhappy. After I sat you, I did seat two other groups on the deck and Caitlin made it out within a couple minutes, not 10. Caitlin intended to get everyone's orders on the deck before returning inside as that is the most time efficient way to work. I am sorry she approached the first table that closest to the door she came out rather than asking who was sat first. She told me that she did apologize three time to you and I believe her. She is a little meek sometimes and you may not have understood her. I don't think anyone on the deck was laughing at you. People do joke a bit to relieve a stressful situation as when someone is upset and leaves abruptly. When I gave you a menu I thought everything was good for you. I wish I had taken your order to get things started for you, but I was distracted by our landscaper and project I needed to complete that afternoon. If there is anyway I can make things right for you, please contact Scott at the pub.
