I used to live in Danielson and frequented the Galley on weekends. Now whenever I return to northeast CT, I always plan breakfast there. This family owned place is small with counter service and several booths. Parking is at a premium and there is often a line on Sunday mornings just after church lets out. The place is a little threadbare but don't let that fool you. They use fresh quality ingredients and everything is made fresh almost in front of you. The corned beef hash is homeade and as good as mom used to make. The same girls have been waitressing there for the last 18 years that I have been going there and they know us all by name. The gyros are excellent. Portions are generous and prices are low. Don't miss this local gem. Make sure you stop in at Heart and Home just a few doors down.

Terrible, rude, abrasive service. We were literally scolded by management because we did not like a cocktail (highly pitched by the server) and we had requested to exchange it for an alternative. When we asked for an explanation on the different cuts of prime rib on the menu, we were rudely interrupted with, âIt doesnât matter anyway because we ran out.â We are local, repeat customers and have had good experiences before. It was my husbandâs birthday dinner and our evening was ruined. In their defense, they sang (using the term loosely) to him but it was too little too late. Over $100 check for two. Cold, dry sliver of a porterhouse steak, rubbery chicken in watery tasteless mystery white sauce with entire garlic cloves. And the nastiest service ever! We will not be returning. We will no longer recommend.

Johnny's is a great place to go to get takeout or sit down for dinner in a casual setting. The staff is always super friendly and really knows the community. the pizzas, pastas, salad, and appetizers are always delicious. Consistently good pizza with a big menu.

Welcome to your Dayville Ninety Nine Restaurant where we have "A Passion To Serve." Come dine with us and check out our 9 Real Size Entrees for just $9.99 or come enjoy our Thursday Night Trivia at the bar.
I prefer to avoid chains but there wasn't much choice in this small town near the I395 intersection. I also generally avoid ordering chicken in restaurants because I don't love chicken and dislike white meat. However, I had the chicken fried chicken $9.99 special and it was surprisingly good served with mashed potatoes and gravy and a biscuit drizzled with honey butter and coleslaw. Service was good too.

NY Pizza Co has some really creative menu offerings and all that we tried were very good. There's a selection of both white and red pizzas...toppings such as pulled pork, fig jam, bbq chicken and pretty much anything else you can imagine and they were all great! Prices were a bit on the high side for their specialty pizzas (close to $25-$30 for a large) and they all feature a very thin crust (of all those we ordered). Staff was very friendly and helpful - answered all of our menu questions and made a few suggestions! We would definitely return and try a few more of their creative specialties!

Deb's offers good food for breakfast and lunch. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Their prices are very reasonable. There are tables and a counter in the front section, and a larger dining space in the back.

We always stop at Zipâs on our way to Logeeâs nursery. Full breakfast and lunch menu and very friendly service. Breakfast omelettes are terrific and those whoâve had lunch are always satisfied.

My wife and I went to 4 G's late on a Sunday night when most people had eaten and the restaurant was cleaning up from what appeared to be a busy evening. We ordered a medium pizza and were pleased to hear that we could get a large for a couple dollars more. The (vegetable) pizza was fantastic! Even though we were staying in a nearby hotel, we took the leftovers and put them in our small refrigerator. The pizza was delicious even the next day.

We went for trivia night and even though Hank's was very busy, Lyn the owner was able to accommodate the six of us. We all really enjoyed our meals and the happy hour specials, and the trivia was a lot of fun! We also enjoyed the delicious complimentary popcorn. The service by both the hostess and our waitress was excellent. We are so happy you enjoyed Trivia! Itâs always a great night. Hope to see you again soon.
