Nutmeg is dining at its best, in a perfect setting. We feature continental foods such as Rack of Lamb, Veal Oscar, Steaks, Chops, Seafood and many other wonderful dishes. Please come in and visit us.
We had a late lunch at the Nutmeg (formerly known as (The Eatery) that exceeded all expectations, even after a friend's strong recommendation. Our meals all came from the luncheon specials menu and the ample servings were delicious. Three sides included fresh green beans, roasted potatoes and a nicely seasoned butternut squash. Service was outstanding. Wish we lived closer so we could return more often.Lunch for three was just $50 plus tip. Located directly on Route 5, ample free parking. Interior and exterior architecture is interesting. I would suggest cutting back some trees and shrubs from the front of the building to better see the building from the road.

Ate at East Windsor CBRL on Fri 03/29/2019 at 10am. Our cost before tip: $25.45. Service was great throughout a much better than average meal. Overall experience was excellent and we hope to return again.Restaurant is just off the freeway and was quite busy during our stop, however we were seated after a short wait. We eat at Cracker Barrel frequently and know the menu well so place our order as soon as waitress Cindy showed up. I requested an off-menu loaded omelet, hash browns and toast. It was $8.79 and excellent. Sloshed it down with a coke: $2.59. Wife had a set meal with eggs, sausage, ham, pancakes and spiced apples, $8.79. Also got a coffee $2.39 and milk $1.99.Good food, attentive service and outstanding value. You should try it.

What I appreciate about dining here is that you can take your tray to the patio and still enjoy the ambience. The staff will check on those dining outdoors but if you want to be alone you've got that too. Departing patrons may comment that you look lonely (I wasn't). The patio lets travellers unwind at a picnic table rather than a barstool. Meat portions are weighed by the ¼ pound. The lesser carnivores can skip that station and order veg side dishes. The cornbread and honey butter make a good dessert if you've got room or satisfying breakfast the next day.

ââWe are a family-owned and family-friendly breakfast, lunch and dinner restaurant best known for our unique menu, Thursday night All-You-Can-Eat Pasta, amazing weekend specials and our fast, friendly service!
Stir the Pot, a Northern CT standby for several years, serves breakfast and lunch. Weâve never been there for the latter, but weâve often had their breakfasts, and theyâre unfailingly great. They offer a number of omelets, including a Cajun version that one of us enjoyed on our most recent visit. We also had a delicious malted waffle special with pears and maple butter. A good selection of side orders are on the menu, including Andouille sausage with a nice kick to it. Breakfasts are available all day. Servers are pleasant and attentive; prices are reasonable. All in all, we look forward to continued trips there.

The food here is some of the best around. They have a very unique and diverse menu, there is truely something for everyone!. Some our our favorites are the Thai Cauliflower bits, and the avacao toast. Both are typically on our table each time we go.In addition to their regular menu, they always have really good seasonal specials running! The servers are all very friendly and rarely miss a beat. The drinks are pretty good too!

This is place is a true gem! Always great good and even better service. So many items made in house from scratch. The pastas are INSANE!! The bolognase is the best around... homemade pasta and meat sauce. So many good choices.. pork chops, steaks and fish and chips. Food is so fresh and entrees come with soup or salad which I love!! Great bread.. great drinks and best of all.. Great service! Always a wonderful experience! Thanks for the great review. We are glad you enjoyed your self. Happy New Years

Very good food. Fun atmosphere...can get noisey. One of our go to places when we can't decide. Salads are great as well as sandwiches. Haven't tried entrees.

My husband and I were looking for a Lobster Roll. Two kinds were available. Cold with mayonnaise or hot with butter. Very disappointed with mine. Lobster was cold so was the roll. I had anticipated a butter grilled roll with hot lobster. Instead no grilled roll, the lobster was cold so was the melted butter. The dill pickle that came with it was the best part of the lunch. I keep trying to like this place, but Iâm done. At dinner the vegetables have been on a steam table. Have no taste or nutrition. Sorry not going back.

Bobby Vâs Restaurant & Sports Bar is Windsor Lockâs ultimate relaxed dining experience where guests of all ages can enjoy our affordable but upscale sports bar menu. Bobby Vâs boasts one of the areaâs most extensive drink menus with an enticing selection
I was in the CT area because I was taking a trip to FL. My flight was cancelled so I had to stay in a hotel. I needed lunch and asked the front desk where they would recommend. The lady said Bobby Vs. I wasnât expecting such a huge place. Tvs were stacked on each other and circled the room. I just got there when they opened but as the room filled for lunch so did horse and dog racing lovers. This place is the spot to go to for horse and dog betting, along with watching sports of all kinds. The bartender was amazing. Their beer selection was plentiful. I had some beers and their potato pulls. They were so delicious! They resemble potato skins but these were crispier and easier to eat. I even sat next to a nice man at the bar who gave me horse and dog tips if I wanted to bet. I did play some keno though. People were friendly, place was clean and plenty of parking. When Iâm in the area again I will make sure I stop in! I highly recommend this place for good food, great service, fun betting and friendly people.
