As a loyal guest of the Heritage Hotel, with golf, spa, Riverwalk Athletic and event center, I will say that this has been a lovely, enlivening home base to stay at during a transition. The Heritage team - Melinda, Gretta, of course Joe, the lovely young lady who greets me at the gym before I swim - all make sure you have what you need to enjoy yourself and feel at ease, bottom line. Shout out to the spa for all the healing, nourishing treatments that supported my renewal just in time for my webpage photoshoot—

Have been multiple times. Never disappoints. Where can you go to the beach and have a lounge chair and an umbrella set up for you? This is a cream puff of a resort, a hidden gem. You may have to wait for a bit for food when it is busy - if you experienced island time, then you can appreciate the service it is 10 times faster than island time and the food has always been worth the wait. Sun and fun relax and enjoy.

No where on their website does it state there will be no housekeeping. Upon arrival we were told that there was no housekeeping. Each day you place your towels and waste baskets in the hall. Then YOU GO to the front desk to get your towels and toiletries. So for the full price of your room you do your own cleaning, dispose of your own towels and gather your new towels. I did not pay full price for that kind of work. I could stay home for that. So rude tonite be told in advance. The site clearly states all of the other things unavailable but not this most important one. One dayi insisted on service , was told three times I would get it and I did not. I am so tired of these big corporations using Covid as an excuse. Totally unacceptable to blatantly deceive a customer.

There was hair in the shower, hair in my salad from room service (though the first two deliveries were fine), curtain torn, there was a large crack in the window, intake cover coming off the wall. Disappointed.

Complete with recreational facilities including tennis, outdoor heated swimming pool, health & fitness center, massages & spa services, gameroom, golf, canoes & kayaks, more... This is an older property. I had a room for two nights on the back side of the main building. The bathroom was updated, and the bedroom functional and a good size with a king bed. The only downside was the poor lighting in the bedroom, which is typical for many hotel rooms. Continental breakfast (cold) was included Friday morning after my Thurs. night stay, but Sat. morning after Fri. night the cold continental was $8.00 and a full buffet, including scrambled eggs, potatoes and bacon was $16.00. Nothing fancy but plenty to eat. Except for the breakfasts I did not eat at the hotel. Although self-styled as a "resort," it is not what you'd call an "upscale resort" by any means. The do have a pool and tennis courts and some basketball hoops. The staff are not falling all over themselves to make you feel welcome, but were friendly and helpful in answering questions. This is a very rural area and there do not appear to be many options if you want to be close to the Hotchkiss School, as I did. The rack rate on my room was $419 per night, but since someone else was footing the bill I don't know the actual cost.

Dank. Dirty. Disgusting. The best 3 words to explain the experience. Hair all over the bathroom. No tissues. Used sheets. Holes in walls. No outlet for coffee maker. Rugs torn up. Management indicated I was lying when I told him about the conditions of the room. Told me we could check out. Told my 74 yr old disabled friend she could move rooms at 10pm if she wasn't satisfied. Gave a 20% refund for one night for our upset. Room was over $180 a night. Weekly residents run the halls with dogs and trash bags and bikes. Indescribable. Really, beyond belief. NEVER EVER STAY HERE NO MATTER WHAT!

The hotel is very nice, but they are very short on staff. Rooms are not being cleaned. I ran out of coffee and towels. Sheets were old and did not fit the bed, so the bottom sheet kept coming loose. Manager says they are hiring more people around July 1st. Maybe it will be better in July.

Disgusting, unsafe, stinky dirty and unsanitary disgusting motel and the staff sucks. Nothing about this stay was right I am thoroughly disgusted and would not recommend this place to anyone.Room was unsafe as window locks were nonexistent and we were ground level. The place reeked of cigarette and the bed sheets had cigarette burns. Remote was taped toget leaving wires exposed and dangerous to operate. Noisy. Breakfast was 4 bagels some white bread and an apple.

WOW. This place is run the way I imagine a refugee camp might be: rude people who seem perversely thrilled at being unhelpful. If you are feeling like a super fun experience, ask them a normal question, like "...are there restaurants around here?" "...how do you make an outbound call from the room?" Bonus: the TV didn't work, the clock in the room was broken, and there is no security lock in the door!
