Injeera has renewed it's menu, a very welcome idea. Resembling the old menu we missed during the past few years, classics (sandwiches and burgers to name but a few) are back or improved. Even the fish carpaccio has returned.Food is well prepared, fresh, and beautifully presented. Eat inside or even along the pool. Staff is usually very friendly and helpfull in general, we always feel welcome. If there was anything to change, it would be the choice of music in the dining room...Dear Tom,thank you for taking the time in reviewing Injeera on TripAdvisor. We are glad that you are enjoying the renewed menu and the return of some of the classics. Every time my colleagues and I go to Makumba, we feel like home. The owner's hospitality is warm and the food is superb. We tried pressed juices with and without milk,lots of Dominican food with tons of fried plantines, rice, fried chicken, fish and much more.

It's ok.. but this is really a fast food type of restaurant. Good selection of shawerma, hummus, babaganoush and other typical turkish plates. But the grilled meat came so quickly that it is just impossible they have cooked it fresh... and also, it is not like there is such a turn-around that there would have always meat on the grill ready to go... so there was probably some micro-wave magic there..... Was fine.... but not sure i will go back there
