Too expensive, service was good, but the price we paid was too much.100 Euros per couple. The two women ordered San MartÃn. The fish ration was quite poor. Steak tartar was ok. Place was ok, but not corresponding to the price.I will not repeat.Thank you for taking the time to share your experience in Madera. We apologize if the restaurant did not meet your expectations. We appreciate your comments and will share these with our team so that we can continue to improve. We do hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future, so that we can provide a better experience.

A NEW CONCEPT OF RESTAURANT WITH A VERY FLEXIBLE PROPOSAL Barra 56 is an alternative to traditional offerings with its own personality and different. Great atmosphere with nice lighting and decoration. A place where you can, from lunch or dinner to enjoy
My husband and I dined here one Thursday evening while a sax player softly played in one corner of the restaurant. The place has a great vibe to it and the service was friendly although a bit slow.My Sashimi de Atún was tasty but tiny. I didn't feel it was worth the price. My husband, on the other hand, ordered the burger Queso de Cabra (goat cheese) which he loved.I would return for the drinks and the music, probably not for the food.

Iitially, an inauspicious location, tucked away in a residential area of Las Rozas. The terrace is a bit plain - plenty of space, and nice furniture, but no views or decor to take your gaze away from the residential flats all around. No problem however, the waiters were fast and efficient, a mini hamburger for the kid and 3 excellent G&T's for the adults swiftly arrived. If anything, the service was TOO efficient - they kept checking with us whether we were ready to place a food order as we sipped our drinks, despite us telling everyone we would order later on. This is not a criticism, I would rather have eager waiters than be ignored, and the staff were all really pleasant. We got a complimentary tapas of deep fried breaded calimari with the drinks - super fresh, hot and crispy. Would put many a dedicated seafood venue to shame, as the flesh was perfectly cooked - soft and juicy, no hint of the chewy freebie stuff you often get as tapas. We then ordered a quesadilla, tosta de foie gras a la plancha, and a mini pizza with jamon, porcini and truffle oil. As an afterthought we also ordered the revuelta of jamon and eggs with foie gras (pate) - the latter served on the side as one of us was not a fan! The kid's miniburger (plus a portion of fries) was a hit - big enough to fill a 4yo up, and easy on the pocket. The pizza had a nice base, and good toppings. The tomato sauce was a bit sweeter than I personally prefer, but overall, a nice dish. Foie gras came on a nice crisp toast, and was delicious - again, there was an onion jam which was just slightly sweeter than ideal, but again, not a criticism - good tapas at a good price. The quesadilla was quite light (no bad thing!) and just hot (chilli wise) enough to warm the palate. The revuelta, ordered as an afterthought, was actually really well executed. Nicely runny pair of large eggs (left whole for us to break) on a bed of fried potatoes & jamon, served with some lovely fresh (and piping hot) bread rolls. Fabulous. All washed down with an Albariño - bit pricey at 18â¬, but very nice. The place filled up over the course of our meal - and the waitress advised that we'd been very lucky to snag a walk-in table at 9pm, she said booking at weekends was normally essential. In summary, this is a local bar with a really nice varied gastro menu. It won't break the bank (dinner for 3 adults & 1 child, with 3 copas, good bottle of wine, and a 0.5L Erdi ger wheat beer). I thoroughly enjoyed the night. I love what they are aiming for, and I will deffo return to check on progress.

This small quaint hidden restaurant in between two apartment/business complexes. They offered very unique dishes with a twist from the standard tapas. We ordered several dishes to share amongst four of us and each dish was a surprise filled with flavour. It was a great way to experience the many dishes offered on the menu. The wine was very good. I have had better Spanish red wine but it was our selection. The service was excellent. Very friendly and the waiter spoke some English. When the chef/owner found out we were from Canada they offered a free after dinner drink called Pacharan. I would go back for sure.

Despite the typically Spanish late opening times it was well worth the wait. The mains are great and the deserts are spectacular. Decent drinks menu. Hip decor and cool tunes playing in the background. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
