We found the place as we drove around, escaping from other more crowded restaurants in the area (industrial and commercial zone), so it was a nice surprise to enter a really quiet place. Seems like a lot of tables were booked but we easily found a table that was set up pretty fast. The waiter was just a bit too familiar and forgot to order one of the main courses (the one that was to take a really long time to be served!), so we had to re-organize the meal and order something else. The food was OK, I had "huevos rotos" with french fries and ham. Can't really tell if those potatoes were frozen or not... We got a free Tiramisú as the waiter excused himself for having forgotten that main course. Mixed feelings with this review...

A very good place to go with your gf/bf or friends. Nice atmosphere. Decoration is nice and it has a big terrace. I specially recommend the ensalada rusa . I wouldn't recommend the burger Thanks for your review, Paula! We are glad to know you have enjoyed your experience at El Kiosko (even though you didn't like the burger, which is probably the most successful dish in our restaurant! That's a pity). Looking forward to see you soon,Big hug, El Kiosko Team

My friend and I were looking for something to eat within Heron City and had seen that Blue Frog had good reviews. The exterior wasn't much to look at and made me a little dubious but once inside, I was impressed. Clean, modern and a good looking bar. My friend and I enjoyed a burger and flatbread respectively which hit the spot. Reasonably priced and good service. Of the places we tried in Heron City, this was the best and unlike some of the others, didn't close during the afternoon and then reopen later in the evening. Thank you very much for sharing with us your good experience, we will be happy to see you again soon in our restaurant in Heron City, Las Rozas and you can continue enjoying the best American food in Blue Frog.Greetings,Blue Frog team

About the restaurant Verde Oliva Gastroteca In the center of Majadahonda you are surprised by a gastronomic space with ambitions to be different in the area. It's the Verde Oliva Gastroteca restaurant. A place where you can savor the best seasonal product
This small quaint hidden restaurant in between two apartment/business complexes. They offered very unique dishes with a twist from the standard tapas. We ordered several dishes to share amongst four of us and each dish was a surprise filled with flavour. It was a great way to experience the many dishes offered on the menu. The wine was very good. I have had better Spanish red wine but it was our selection. The service was excellent. Very friendly and the waiter spoke some English. When the chef/owner found out we were from Canada they offered a free after dinner drink called Pacharan. I would go back for sure.

Iitially, an inauspicious location, tucked away in a residential area of Las Rozas. The terrace is a bit plain - plenty of space, and nice furniture, but no views or decor to take your gaze away from the residential flats all around. No problem however, the waiters were fast and efficient, a mini hamburger for the kid and 3 excellent G&T's for the adults swiftly arrived. If anything, the service was TOO efficient - they kept checking with us whether we were ready to place a food order as we sipped our drinks, despite us telling everyone we would order later on. This is not a criticism, I would rather have eager waiters than be ignored, and the staff were all really pleasant. We got a complimentary tapas of deep fried breaded calimari with the drinks - super fresh, hot and crispy. Would put many a dedicated seafood venue to shame, as the flesh was perfectly cooked - soft and juicy, no hint of the chewy freebie stuff you often get as tapas. We then ordered a quesadilla, tosta de foie gras a la plancha, and a mini pizza with jamon, porcini and truffle oil. As an afterthought we also ordered the revuelta of jamon and eggs with foie gras (pate) - the latter served on the side as one of us was not a fan! The kid's miniburger (plus a portion of fries) was a hit - big enough to fill a 4yo up, and easy on the pocket. The pizza had a nice base, and good toppings. The tomato sauce was a bit sweeter than I personally prefer, but overall, a nice dish. Foie gras came on a nice crisp toast, and was delicious - again, there was an onion jam which was just slightly sweeter than ideal, but again, not a criticism - good tapas at a good price. The quesadilla was quite light (no bad thing!) and just hot (chilli wise) enough to warm the palate. The revuelta, ordered as an afterthought, was actually really well executed. Nicely runny pair of large eggs (left whole for us to break) on a bed of fried potatoes & jamon, served with some lovely fresh (and piping hot) bread rolls. Fabulous. All washed down with an Albariño - bit pricey at 18â¬, but very nice. The place filled up over the course of our meal - and the waitress advised that we'd been very lucky to snag a walk-in table at 9pm, she said booking at weekends was normally essential. In summary, this is a local bar with a really nice varied gastro menu. It won't break the bank (dinner for 3 adults & 1 child, with 3 copas, good bottle of wine, and a 0.5L Erdi ger wheat beer). I thoroughly enjoyed the night. I love what they are aiming for, and I will deffo return to check on progress.

Despite the typically Spanish late opening times it was well worth the wait. The mains are great and the deserts are spectacular. Decent drinks menu. Hip decor and cool tunes playing in the background. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
