Even if you're staying in Madrid it's worth taking a taxi and coming to Pozuelo to experience one of the best traditional restaurants in town. Fantastic food, authentic flavours, nothing sophisticated. Sea food, iberic ham (the best!), torreznos, tortilla de patatas, you name it! And save some extra space for dessert too. A bit pricey but ideal for sharing in a group.

La Espanola is a restaurant located in Pozuelo de Alarcon inaugurated in July 1981. The restaurant is famous for its potato omelette, grilled red meats and fantastic seasonal fish. La Espanola offers its customers a professional and friendly service, priv
We went to this restaurant after reading the reviews and honestly I expected more from it. We made a reservation to sit at the terrace, which we did. But the terrace had a closed roof. Nevertheless people were allowed to smoke in there since it was a terrace, absurd, no? And the terrace was right next door to the bar of the restaurant and there was a Real Madrid game on that night, so the TV was on and the volume extremely high! The food was good, but in general the food is good in Spain, it's not something hard to find. The appetizers were good, but they were brought together with the main dish which was a chuleton that was really tasty. At the time of the bill I checked the total, and we had not received the discount we should have, since I had booked through club kviar, from where you are entitled to a 30% discount. I told the waiter and he took it back. But then he said that they can't find my reservation through kviar! Since I had it on my phone I showed it to him and then the discount was made. All in all I have been to many better places and I don't think we will return to that one.

This is a cute little hidden gem of a restaurante that is casual enough to bring the kids to but also I could see having a birthday or anniversary dinner at as well. There is both indoor seating (with AC) and outdoor seating. The staff is friendly and attentive and the chef speaks English which is always a plus. We ordered a variety of appetizers to share and everyone was pleased. The portion sizes were good for the price. Presentation of the food was picture perfect and I wish I would have taken some of the appetizers and main course. My steak was cooked perfectly and I loved the yucca fries that came with it. One of my friends ordered the steak tartar which I am not a fan of in general, but it looked so appealing that I think I may have to go back and try it. The desserts were amazing. The tarta tres leche was my favorite. I would go back just to eat that. We had a great evening here.

When I entered I felt I was on a boat. Everyone was very warm . What I like is that there is an outside terrace , an elegant section and then another to like a pub or bar look. They service was very good and the food tasted really good . I enjoyed it . The price is reasonable . It's so friendly for families or a large group . Really enjoyed it

Faithful to the Basque and Mediterranean culinary style but with its own special touch that elevates food to an exceptional standard. A gastronomic reference of the highest level in Madrid found on the top floor of the Zielo Shopping Pozuelo Shopping Cent
Lunchtime crowd building from 1.30pm. Cocktails with gratis amazing mussels, served in the shell. Sit at the bar then head to the white tablecloth space overlooking gardens and a view to Madrid centre.Quite formal silver service. Wonderful Olives and soupçon of soup, great bread. Great plates of Iberico ham and creamy wild mushrooms, followed by bull tail and various local fish specialities. Monkfish with crab somewhat over cooked, regrettably. But will re-visit as overall more than good.

We went to Zurito for a Sunday family lunch, after reading the trip advisor reviews and it was really worth it. We got different appetizers, I highly recommend the shrimps and mushrooms. Our main course was steak, what was excellently cooked, and very tasty. We had a great wine with it, but this is easy in Spain, red wines are great! I highly recommend it, the food was great, service was excellent and the price was very logical. What more could you ask for?

El Urogallo constituye todo un referente gastronómico en la capital Desde 1996 no ha dejado de crecer y evolucionar apostando firmemente por la gastronomÃa tradicional. Disfrute de nuestra selección de carnes, pescados y vinos. Cocina tradicional y delici
Inside at a table in a tremendous evening hail storm the waiters kept their cool despite the leaks in the noisy, tent top. Food is always top notch with one exception - the honeyed egg plant is scarce, expensive and nowhere what you can expect in Andalucia. Beef is perfect, fish is excellent, croquetas are exquisite, wine recommendations can be trusted. Tapas are all good. Kids love the fries with an egg on top. Always a good bet in Pozuelo for tapas, lunch or dinner. Always crowded but table turnover is fast (when the outdoors tables are used) and the way they handle it is fair and obvious. Hi Ktrivella, thanks :D
