Fantastic value, hotel owner, and location

The hotel owner Luis Catiñeira is fantastic - kind, informative, and great fun to have a glass of wine in the evening with and talk about Galicia or mountain biking. The location is exactly what you want - right across the street from the old town (there are hardly any hotels in Combarro, and this is the best located). And the hotel is clean and very comfortable. Breakfast is great too - and I’m vegan which is not easy on Galicia. You won’t find a better bargain.

Reviewed By pennylane51We stayed just one night here but the proprietors went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home. As the low season had started they let us choose our room (very comfortable and clean), then gave us all the necessary information about the town and the area: what to visit, the best restaurants etc. They couldn't have been more helpful. All with a smile too, which makes such a difference! There is no lift in this hotel, not a problem for us but it needs to be pointed out for those with disabilities.

Reviewed By happy971Rooms are very different. Some of the rooms have the better view. All rooms are nice, good beds, nice and clean. Facilities are all fine. Super friendly staff. He did his very best to treat us with the perfect balance between good service and friendship stile. Plus he had a great sense of humour.

Reviewed By Adam HThis hotel is located overlooking the sea (although, not all rooms have a sea view). Reasonably priced and clean. Only a short walk from the riverside restaurants in Combarro. Breakfast selection was good.

Reviewed By joseluisrV1301FESe muestra una fotografia que no se corresponde con el apartamente. Es totalmente cerrado. No tienen ninguna ventana al exterior. El olor durante los 3 dias fue nauseabundo. Tuvimos que comprar especialmente desodorante de ambientes para paliar un poco el olor. Nunca me habia sentido tan engañado.

Reviewed By Natascha VVery bad: we had booked a room with seaview, but got a room with no windows at all. Moreover, the bath room and floor were not clean and not well maintained. The owner was very unfriendly and the wifi slowest of all places.
