With great chips & salsa (a big factor for Tex-Mex Restaurants), you can settle down with family and friends, indulge in your entree, and take in the well-decorated atmosphere.
Just make sure you come in with a hearty appetite....it'll be worth your while!
My preferred dishes: Chicken Quesadillas; The Texas Burrito w/ Rice & Refried Beans

Sit here in the mornings, and you'll think everyone knows everyone else in Columbus! Actually, a nice friendly coffee shop with decent WiFi. Comfortable, if somewhat worn, chairs. Coffee tasted good, but needed to be warmed up a little. The scones were excellent. We're going back next time we are in town.

Huge crowds but they are handled well. I had the buffet and my husband ordered the weiner schnitzel. The food on the buffet was of wonderful quality. It was easy to understand why people would wait in the line for the buffet.
Salad items were fresh and cooked items were cooked but not over done. My husband was happy with his weiner schnitzel, red cabbage, and German potato salad.

TRC known by regulars as "Kelly Coffee" because the owner Kelly Lewis makes the best coffee every morning. She has the ability to not only make great suggestions for a drink choice but can remember everyone's favorite. She is very nice and helpful! So drive through and see why we locals love it!

You have to love a place where you can still walk up to the window, place your order and wait to pick up the satisfying comfort food. Burgers are great, shakes are fantastic!

Had a big family luncheon here recently and we were treated like royalty. We didn't have a reservation, we just walked in. They had us seated in minutes and the service was fantastic. And the food...the food. It was real good Mexican food. served hot and tasty. Everyone in our party had a good time and the food was enjoyed by all.

We totally enjoyed our visit to Jerry Mikeska's restaurant. Jerry is in his 90s and was there meeting his customers. He is a delightful gentleman whose life revolves around his restaurant. This is our first time at Jerry's but not the first time at a Mikeska Brothers' restaurant. Jerry's does not disappoint. I don't believe the negative reports.
We have always ordered the brisket which is consistently good. It is served cafeteria style with sides of your choice. It appears that the prices have not changed in years. If you are traveling along I-10 between Houston and San Antonio this is a good stop. The meal is a great value and you are likely to have enough to take home.

Don't understand the low reviews. We have yet to have a poor experience at a Whataburger. This was no exception. We went in and was quickly greeted with a smile. We placed our order and in a few minutes, out it comes, freshly made and delicious. The store was very clean. Oh yes! We would go back.

I don't frequent bars, sports or otherwise at my age, however, my husband wanted to watch Alabama play football Saturday night and it was the recommendation of several people.
He went early to see the pregame stuff and I joined him a little later. He had already eaten some wings and said they were great. I had actually eaten dinner earlier and was only mildly hungry. I ordered sweet tea and onion rings.
WOW! What a nice surprise . . . these were the best onion rings I had ever eaten. My husband went to the restroom when they were delivered and I was tempted to try to eat as many as I could before he came back out . . . LOL! Like I could not order more.
Actually the basket was a generous portion and hubby was able to consume a few I had not downed in his absence. The sweet tea was a huge glass with lots of ice and was refilled promptly. The girls who waited on us were very polite and helpful with the menu.
I am not sure if it is a smoke free business (perhaps it is by law now . . . not sure) but the lack of cigarette smoke in the air was much appreciated by this 'old' allergy ridden lady.
When we are in the Columbus area, I will look forward to going back to Blake Street to try out some more of their menu items.
