Though it has never been "Over the top" amazing, I have never had a complaint with the food, not the service. Both have been above average for Columbus. I have been there with a large group and all was well as well as with just my wife and found it to be cozy and private (as much as a restaurant can be)

Service was quick and recently remodeled restaurant is a great improvement over the "old" Dairy Queen. I was especially pleased to find ice cream cakes that were personalized in a moment's time.

Typical daylight, but it is always nice to find a place with fresh donuts: Pros: Fresh donuts Cons: Large orders can clean them out, cash only

Husker Steakhouse is a Columbus tradition--it is a superb steakhouse in the classic tradition, with the emphasis on steaks. Your supper comes with an excellent steak (mine was t-bone, but others in the group ordered rib-eye, and one had the gall to order fish!), potato and a very good salad. Service is superb, the steaks top of the heap. It's pretty hard not to like this place. Parking is easy, free and convenient, with two handicapped places in front if those are necessary.

Mexican cuisine is plentiful and popular no matter where you are. Choices abound. So it's nice to find a establishment that takes it seriously and does it right. El Mezcal is superb!
I was greeted and seated promptly in an already busy restaurant. I ordered an ice tea as I reviewed their well designed menu. Their iced tea was fresh brewed, a must. They quickly followed that with warm corn chips and a salsa made with a very fresh blend of tomato, pepper, cilantro, spice, and lime. A great start!
I ordered the Carnitas plate and my meal got even better! Authentic, meaty, roasted pork with a side of tender, moist Spanish rice, frijoles (made from scratch I'm sure) guacamole, pico de gallo, and warm corn tortillas. I savored every bite!
This is seriously superior Mexican food! Made by people who understand the culture and cuisine of this proud heritage. El Mezcal is an absolute must-try. You will not be disappointed.

In town on biz and looking for a healthy choice for lunch. Was delighted to find this quaint converted home offered several mixed green salads with protein options; tenderloin, salmon and chicken. Had the steak and blue cheese salad. The filet cuts were perfectly prepared and the crumbles capped a delicious and healthy lunch. Thank you.

We visited some family and they ordered Godfathers Pizza. Glad they did, because we used to have a Godfathers in Colorado. Missed the Taco pizza. Very unique kind of crust which isn't bad, but not great either. Really heavy kind of dough texture, good toppings.

We ate hear as part of a family reunion. We rented one of the party rooms which was limited to 40 people. The food was very fresh and hot; in spite of being called PIZZA Ranch, I think the broasted chicken was a bigger hit, along with the home made mashed potatoes and gravy and the sweet corn!

Small little cafe in Columbus - I stopped on a morning when they had a couple inches of snow - not many people about - I seated my self and ordered coffee - checked a menu and perused specials that were written on a chalk board near the front of cafe - I opted for a philly cheese steak omelet special for 7.95 - also added hash browns and toast - items arrived fairly quickly and were hot - i was interested to try this omelet concoction - it had steak, onion and green peppers and was surprisingly good - prices were reasonable and waitress was very helpful and attentive - I'll be back
