Have seen the yellow building while passing through Rifle and wondered about the food. Stopped in yesterday and really was impressed by the freshness and flavor. Enjoyed a barbacoa taco and chicken burrito. Also indulged in a cream churro. Will definitely stop in again when traveling through Rifle, CO.

Definitely felt like a place that caters to locals, but they were very polite to these travelers. Lots to try on menu and huge portions. Worth the drive into town - away from the typical interstate interchange chains.
We stumbled onto Momas by accident and had some of the best ice cream weâve ever tasted. This is a totally different approach to ice cream â itâs made fresh to order while you wait! We werenât sure how to order at first, but the very friendly lady running the shop advised us. Basically, they take fresh fruit and/or nuts, chop them up up on top of a cold metal sheet, pour cream over the top, and keep chopping and mixing until they have a thin frozen sheet of fruity ice cream. To serve, they scrape up strips of ice cream into cylinders and add sauce. We tried guava (totally yummy) and avocado and pecan (remarkably delicious). Itâs definitely worth taking a short detour off I-70 to visit Momas for ice cream.

Amazing service everytime and large portions of delicious food! Augustine is our favorite server and always remembers us and what we eat and drink! He also makes our son feel special by including him and catering to him...definitely a professional and top notch! Thanks for being amazing all around!

Small friendly restaurant that serves a very decent pizza and delicious Mexican fare. The waitress was knowledgeable and let my grandson sample "horchata", which opened his young taste buds to a new culinary world. Portions and prices are very reasonable and the menu selection varied. The "chili relent" was outstanding!
