Meandered in to Zolo yesterday(5/21) for lunch after 1:30.We shared the pork green chili stew....first time to try it. A tad too spicy.....AND we were expecting chunks of pork.......there were none. NOT sorry we tried this, but doubt we would order it again. Also shared our old standby.....mac and cheese w/chorizo and grilled steak on top. Always a winner. Our server was great........no complaints otherwise. We'll be back!

We went for Cinco de Mayo, and the chips and salsa (you had to pay for them), and the tacos were OK, but the tacos had so much different stuff on each that they did not have a distinctive taste. It was very noisy and hard to talk, and we couldn't wait to leave.

We go here often on Monday nights for some Margaritas, Queso Fundito and Chile Rellenos. On a good day they open up the front which provides great people watching and they have a small outdoors area so you can take your dog (but they have to stay on the other side of the railings). Their Chili Rellenos are very unique with a balsamic glaze which are spectacular. The Queso is kind of like a mini Mexican fondue. Nice place to spend an evening with friends.

We were traveling through Boulder & stopped at Rio Grande. We sat on patio because we had our dog with us. We were seated pretty & were told our server would be with us as soon as he finished up something. After waiting 15 minutes I went & asked for service. Finally someone came out & asked if we had been helped. Could not understand half of what he said. We ordered & food came out hot & drinks cold. Guacamole was tasteless, veggie quesadillas were mostly cheese. After finishing it took forever to get our check & even longer to get our receipts & cards back. Donât go here if you want a quick lunch or good Mexican food. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. I wanted to apologize for the service you received. We expect fast and friendly service and I am sorry that we did not deliver on your visit. I'd like to discuss your visit further. Please contact us at [email protected]

Our picky family of 4 enjoyed every morsel at Efrain's. Who knew this place had been in our backyard for many years? I had never heard of it and we decided to give it a try over the holidays. Yummy food and margaritas. It is popular and noisy. Carryout might be another good option.
