My 1st time here and we sat outside. They have a big covered patio and it was comfortable enough. Our server, though very busy, was very pleasant and did a great job. The food was very good. Loved the salsa, probably the best carnitas I have had, and the flan terrific. I'll be going there again.

Hacienda Colorado Colorado Springs

Disappointing. The room was extremely noisy. The service was VERY SLOW. We ordered chimichangas. They were all bread with a very little meat in the center. This was true of the beef and carnitas versions. A couple of house margaritas were $9.75 each. Seems a little high for this restaurant. All in all, not a good evening. We won;t be returning,

Amanda's Fonda

Our group of three (2 grandparents and a teenaged grandson) stopped in for dinner based on the great TripAdvisor ratings. We enjoyed our dining experience. A blended strawberry margarita was excellent, as was the carnitas dinner. The appetizer sampler plate was also very good, and lots of food! The chili rellenos were not as good as expected, which could have been a fluke. There was some confusion on which waiter was going to work our table, and it took some time to get service, but once we did, our waitress was excellent. Overall, a good (but not excellent) experience. Good enough to merit 4 stars in my book.

I have concluded that Mexican Cuisine is regional. While Salsa Bravo was a nice atmosphere, clean, good service and family friendly it's not for me. I love Tex Mex in the North Texas area. I have eaten in south Texas and did not care for the food. I think it is about spices and what you are used to. So sad I have not found my place. I really wanted to love SB because it had all of the pieces that I appreciate, but I did not like the seasonings and the taste of the food. No fault to Salsa Bravo, it's just not what I consider to be my preference.

Arceo's Mexican Restaurant

Overall, the food is pretty good (not great, but good). We have eaten at Arceo's several times and have enjoyed all our meals. The service is typically fast, but the wait staff is not overly friendly (not a big deal for us). Decor is a bit dated, but lots of bright colors on the tables and chairs. If you are in the neighborhood, Arceo's is definitely worth checking out. However, I would not drive across town just for it.
