Our waiter wasn't great, but we were pre-warned you go for the food and not the service. Their Impossible Burger Persian Sliders were a unique way to use the Impossible Burger. The Pork Belly Bao Bun's were delicious, but a little pricy for the amount of food. Their Potato Masala Dosa is a delightful dish for lunch.

G&G was highly recommended by family that live in Denver so I ventured there with a colleague. We took a last minute reservation at 9:30 PM on a Thursday night (that's all they had).We arrived at 9:25 PM (thanks google timeline) and they said it would be a few minutes until our table would be ready. We did enjoy ourselves at the bar but they didn't get us until after 10PM.I have traveled to Denver numerous times and have eaten at many of the fine dining establishments. G&G is at the very top of the $$$$ scale in Denver and is a challenging value proposition. See below. The food was outstanding. The salad portions are large and both were delicious. We had a Cesar and a Greek(ish)? salad. We shared a 22 oz ribeye and each had a 6 oz lobster tail, they were both great. Mushrooms and the Nudi were standout sides. We had 2 desserts as well: both excellent. The service was where this place struggled. They initially tried seating us along the kitchen in an area that was deserted so we asked for a booth where there were still people dining. They obliged. However after that no one came to see us, offer us water, wine or a drink for about 10 minutes.Once we did meet our waiter he said he would bring bread and get the somm for me. The sparkling never came, nor the bread, nor the somm. When he came back another 10 minutes later he wondered if the somm had taken our wine order to which I said no, nor did we have water or bread. It was close to 10:30.Ultimately we never saw the somm and we ordered a bottle of wine that was on the somm recommended section (I beleive a Sonoma County Pinot). While he was taking our food order the bread and water showed up. Salads came out pretty quickly, but then there was a long lull before steak/lobster/sides. It was like it was never fired because there was easily a 30 minute period we never saw our waiter with no explanation. The runner who brought them didn't ask if we needed anything else (horseradish) and we didn't see our waiter for another 10 minutes. I have a feeling he was on break or a meal period, but no one came to say he/she would be taking care of us.A different waiter took our dessert order and finally we saw our main guy. At about 11:30 the restaurant was really in tear down mode...especially the section we would have been sat in. When the desserts showed up 15 minutes later (maybe 11:45 PM) there were about 5 tables still with people but the staff was obviously done for the night and really made us feel rushed (even though we were waiting on them). We left at 12:15 AM and were the last people out, but not really by choice.,I also don't remember any manager checking on us.Like I said, the food was great but the service not polished. At over $400 for two people they are at the high end of Denver and really show blow you away with service (or at least make you not notice the issues).I would come back but I guess try to eat earlier or be a little more demanding while dining.

We took a prospective client to lunch here and all absolutely loved it! The overall atmosphere is urban and fun, but cozy with a that ânestled in the neighborhoodâ feeling. Itâs hard to beat generous $5 pours of wine âall day, everydayâ.The appetizer plate we ordered was tasty (meats, cheeses, olives, etc) and everyone really enjoyed their lunches. Our server was attentive and passionate about the menu items. There is one and only one downside and that is the lack of of off-street parking for those who drive here. I was really impressed by this place and have already recommended it to friends in central Denver!

Blue Agave Grill is a Southwestern restaurant in Downtown Denver located off 16th street and Larimer. A Colorado owned and operated company, this second location features the same great made-from-scratch food that the original in Fort Collins introduced.
I understand this lovely restaurant is on 16th street Denver downtown, so the prices have to be a bit higher. We were disappointed, however. My husband gave his margarita a âbâ ( not citrusy enough, personal preference) but I ordered the Tunarita and was very disappointed. The ârawâ tuna was covered in so much sauce like seasoning that I couldnât tell it was tuna. Some of the pieces of avocado in this $13 dish had way overripe avocado. It just wasnât good. My husband had chicken enchiladas which had a nice presentation and he said it was good enough. Thatâs not much of a compliment. Will we go back? Maybe for some tacos, that actually sounded pretty decent.
