The food is excellent, the service is great and everyone here is friendly. The chicken fried steak was the best and biggest I can remember having. The potato salad and green beans that came with it were excellent also. My wife had the vegetarian wrap with fried okra which she really enjoyed.

We spent Memorial Day weekend in Ridgway to visit the Black Canyon National Park and the surrounding area. On Sunday, we spent the morning rafting the San Miguel river building up a good appetite. We chose Colorado Boy based on a recommendation from the rafting folks (Riggs). Space is great â a bit small but lots of character in the old building. Also, some great outdoor seating if you the weather cooperates. We started with a beer of course since it is a brewery. I had the Pale Ale and my husband chose the IPA. Both good choices. For an appetizer, we had the spinach salad. The large portion is definitely large and more than enough for 2-3 people. It was delicious â walnuts, gorgonzola, and roasted red peppers â served with a pesto dressing. Their specialty beyond the beer is artisanal pizza. My daughter opted for a custom pizza, she was excited they had her favorite options â garlic, bacon and fresh mozzarella. Both my son and I opted for the pepperoni, sausage and kalamata olives. My husband chose the option with a fried egg. They were all delicious, however, my favorite was my husbandâs pizza. The portion size is generous. I would share a pizza next time unless you are really hungry.

European style restaurant and bar with revolving chefs tasting menu. fine dining with table service and chill atmosphere.
Unbelievable food. Very chic for a small town. Inventive and just plain delicious. Cute setting. An old barber shop. They are closed in November due to the change in seasonal demands. Disappointed. They reopen after the fall season to ski and ice climbers coming in. Can't wait.

We are a nestled in a small mountain town and surrounded by large peaks and gorgeous terrain. We offer live music daily from 5-8 and Happy Hour from 4-6. A full menu, offering all Colorado local proteins including Yak burgers!
The title pretty much sums it up. Food is very plain and small portions for the price. Plus, after our party of 7 finished eating, it took almost 40 minutes just to get the bills and there was almost nobody else in the restaurant! The electronic bill is pre-filled out with a 20% tip with IMO is just un-ethical. Yes, the customer can change it but don't pre-fill in your own tip.Hi Tony Sorry for the delay in response, we lost access to trip advisor.. We have retained a new Manager and provided training Front of House staff to address the slowness in receiving the check. I am sorry to hear you did not like the food, we spend a lot of time on acquiring local ingredients and providing the highest quality food for our patrons but I understand that not everyone will like our menu. The electronic bill is not prefilled at 20% and this should have been explained to you, I apologize for that. The electronic check out allows for no tip, 5%, 10%, 20% or Custom - these are all configurable by you the patron and left to you when checking out. If you have any other questions or concerns please send them to [email protected] thank you!
