Authentic mexican Cuisine. Family operated. Dishes are prepared daily with the freshest ingredients.
We stopped here based on TripAdvisor reviews. One of the best Mexican restaurants weâve been to in Colorado. We had their special grape margarita and shared guacamole. I had the chicken enchiladas and a Chile relleno which was delicious. My wife had a steak burrito which was also amazing. Next time weâre in Colorado weâll definitely come back!

We've eaten at Carlos Miguel's many times in different locations. This was the first time I ordered the Taquiza Zapopan, a plate with 4 different tacos. The online menu says 5 tacos, but there were only four on the plate so somewhere there is a discrepancy. The chicken, usually my least favorite flavor, was one of the best! The carnitas and pastor were the next best, but honestly all of them were good. My husband got the street tacos, said they were okay but mine were better. The street tacos came with rice and beans, but I was happy with just tacos.

I'm from California & I lived in Mexico for a summer. My husband is from Texas. We're pretty picky about Mexican food. We really like Carlos Mexican Bar and Grill. For US Mexican food it's pretty authentic. I had pork carnitas, tender, juicy, great modest spice level. One of the best ever. My husband had steak fajitas. Muy bien. That said, the first thing I gotta' tell you is authentic is a pretty dicey word when you are talking about Mexican food in the USA. When I lived in Mexico, we never ate tortillas, or enchiladas, tacos or burritos. So most of what we Americans call Mexican food isn't really served in homes. Then again, if you are eating at home, how many times per week do your make burgers? That quintessentially labeled American food? And don't you always want one when you're traveling abroad? So try Carlos and let us know how you liked it. Friendly, attentive service!
