Fine dining food quality in a nondescript, casual atmosphere. Best grilled shrimp in recent memory. Carpaccio, brocollini (with lots of whole garlic), and spinach salad all flavorful, and better than ordinary tasting to my taste buds. My wife enjoyed the red blend house wine. Jake, our server, was a plus, to an already great lunch/meal. And, the oysters? Yes, please!

I had the Deep Pan Supreme Pizza sans pork (replaced with anchovies). Delicious! The waitress was prompt with our order (2 other people, whom ordered a pasta dish and a meatball sandwich . . . Both of my friends thought their menu items were excellent as well). I have lived in the front range area for over two decades and had never been to this restaurant. I will rectify that mistake by going here regularly for pizza . . . In fact, I am having dinner here again on Tuesday!Regarding decor and atmosphere, it's perfect for families! I will definitely tell my friends. Keep up the good work!

Good pizza, but service so-so. We ordered: Toscana and Sicilia to share. Good cocktails (we ordered one each - Club Marcos).... I would say well deserved after a long days hike in the mountains (to be clear, we went back to our hotel first before going to dinner, prim and proper). When we got to Marco's, half the place was empty (and it wasn't late at all) so we were pretty annoyed by the rushed service. We still had half the pizzas untouched (yet), and we were only here for less than 15 minutes before the waitress/server started coming by every couple of minutes. While we were clearly enjoying our meal within a short window of time (and we were having a conversation) with our drinks unfinished (still in the process as again we were barely into our slices) when the waitress came to us asking if we wanted a to-go box, and then while I was chewing on another slice asking if we wanted to see the dessert menu. That was perplexing. We didn't order anything else as the mood was turning at our table with the rushed service (and being asked if we're still 'working on it'). We got a to-go box for our pizzas and went elsewhere to enjoy our evening. We would've stayed longer than 40 minutes (maybe even spent more money and ordered something else), but is what it is (instead we found a fun speakeasy where we spent the evening).

When we arrived the wait staff was friendly. We were seated quickly, but 2 of the glasses on our table for water were dirty. One still had lipstick around the rim and the other one had particles in the glass. The appetizers were eclectic and did a fusion between bar bites and classic Italian dishes. They were good. The entrees were an ok portion size. The pizzas are definitely better than the sandwiches. Stay away from the chicken parmesan. It’s dry. The fries are actually one of the stars here!! Get 2 orders of those. Overall, it’s ok. It’s not a must go...but it’s ok for a quick bite.

I really do not get why this place gets such great reviews. We have been twice, and both times I have not been overly impressed. I will say that the burrata is fantastic, but beyond that the food is average at best. On our most recent visit, we had our kids with us, and they do not have a kids menu, which is fine. However, our server was certainly not overly accommodating. I had the meatballs and polenta which was decent, but my husband had the rabbit which was so salty that it wasn’t really edible. I don’t think that we will return.

Place says they are Detroit style pizza taken after Buddy's Pizza from Detroit. Not close. First, there were very few items on the pizza as it was dominated by sauce. Second, the crust was not caramelized or flavored like Buddy's Pizza. Third, Expensive for what you get. Being from Detroit, I thought this was more advertisement than substance.

Old Chicago

This eatery is conveniently located among a number of other corporate/chain restaurants on the ever-busy Wadsworth Boulevard, which connects to the 285. That's important because that is one of the main highways you'll likely use to visit Red Rocks Amphitheater and so you can head out of your hotel to your concert, pop in at Old Chicago for dinner, and be on your way to the show. I found the service to be very attentive and helpful. When I asked about the Colorado IPAs the waiter offered to have me taste a couple to help with my decision, and the gent was present though not pushy. I did try a pre-dinner mule (they have a number of them), and wasn't impressed at their size or flavor, but the personal Chicken Alfredo with bacon pizza was hot, generously sized, and filling, as well as tasting yummy. He recommended a simple New York cheesecake with a few berries and syrup on top, and it completed my meal. There are a number of TVs everywhere in the dining areas, and most are set to sports programming. Perhaps the time of day for my visit (i.e. around 545pm ahead of a 7PM concert start) accounted for a conspicuously older crowd, but there were also a number of kiddos and families out with grandma and/or grandpa. All in all a very satisfying experience.

It was a nice restaurant out in Lakewood with a nice relaxed atmosphere and great outdoor patio. The brunch menu had a great selection and the food was excellent and reasonably priced ($30 for two entrees and an alcoholic drink). Our waitress Nicole was very nice and attentive and the staff overall was very accommodating. When they needed our table for a larger party, they relocated us (my friend and I had finished our meals but were catching up), gave us a free drink, and a free appetizer / cocktail / beer / wine for our next visit.
