Mollica's is a classic; family owned and operated Italian market and deli, established by Dom, Toni, and Jerry Mollica in 1987. Steeped in family tradition, the recipes have been handed down from generations. Our specialty is homemade Italian sausage made
We had a little trouble remembering which strip mall the restaurant was in but once we found it, âoh yeah, that place!âAll three of us ordered soup and salad. The salad was Italian and very tasty. The soup was a garden vegetable with sausage slices in it. Very good! This is a deli but they brought our food to us. Iâll be back!

Tasty Italian food...The Risotta Balls are especially delicoius. Love the ambiance. Always a good idea to make reservations if you plan to go on a weekend because they stay busy. If you like St. Louis Gooey Butter Cake-- try the Blueberry version.. tasty! We go back often.

We usually try local restaurants when on vacation but Old Chicago was within walking distance from our motel so convenient location won that night. We were greeted in a timely manner and seated immediately. Our server was attentive and our food order was accurate. No complaints at all.

This was our first visit and can't wait to go back. We had the lasagna, chicken and white truffle pasta, and chicken pesto pasta. All were very good and we had leftovers to take home. We purchased four (yes I said four!) desserts to take home and share. Loved the chocolate cake and brownie. Lemon cake was light and good, but not memorable. Tiramisu was partially frozen so saved for the next day and it got soggy. But really enjoyed the food and unique choices.

When we arrived we were seated right away. Our waitress brought out two types of bread and made "Biaggi's Butter"...{oil, parmesan cheese and salt} We started off with the :SPINACH & ARTICHOKE DIPOven-Baked Fresh Spinach, Artichokes, Creamy Italian Cheese Blend & Parmesan Breadcrumbs, Grilled Baguette It was very flavorful and was plenty for 3 people. Our waitress had asked for extra Baguette bread for us.I had the :SMOKED SALMON "STRAW & HAY"Applewood House-Smoked Salmon, Scallion Cream Sauce, Parmesan & Romano Cheeses, Spinach & Egg Fettuccini It was very good and was even better tonight when I re-warmed what was left. The portion was perfect but, I filled up on the appetizer and wanted dessert...My partner had:BRAISED SHORT RIB RAVIOLIBraised Beef Short Rib-Filled Ravioli, Sage-Brown Butter Sauce, Veal Reduction, Hint of Horseradish, Seasoned Breadcrumbs He said it was very good and the horseradish did not over power the dish. His son had:SPAGHETTI & MEATBALLSHousemade Sicilian Meatballs, Marinara Sauce, Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese It looked very good but, he didn't seem to be impressed with it...I should mention here that he is a 13 year old so...take that for what it's worth. For dessert we had:GELATO & SORBETTOYour Choice of Three Scoops of Gelato - Amarena Cherry, Cappuccino, Vanilla Bean, Chocolate, Spumoni or Blood Orange Sorbetto As soon as I saw Spumoni, I had to have that!!! I wanted two scoops of that and one of the Blood Orange but, they were out of it.Overall the meal was very enjoyable. Our waitress was very attentive. The only complaint I would have is that it was very noisy so, carrying on a conversation was a little difficult at times. Definitely not a quite romantic Italian restaurant.I would recommend it for a family or group but, not necessarily for a 'couple' outing unless you sit right next to each other.Ciao

The wait staff and sommelier were very friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable. However, our private room kept being walked through by other patrons trying to find a shortcut to the lavatory. As there was no signage on the door to redirect people, it happened several times throughout our event. Otherwise, the food quality was high and it was delicious.

Wife joined me on business trip when I was out over a weekend. We both had this place recommended by other restaurantours in the area. First. Have the risotto balls. They are worth the visit in and of themselves. Excellent salads. Katie our waitress did a superb job. We shared the chef special the day we were there. Good cocktails and wine. My hint to other visitors is to buy a good bottle and then leave half of it for your server to enjoy! Iâll bring my business associates here for dinner for sure.

The staff needs customer service training. First, it wasn't clear who was serving us, and it put us in an awkward position when we wanted to ask for something. (Three different people came to ask what we wanted to drink and whether we wanted appetizers.) Second, the waiter and bartender argued right in front of us about which of them would be serving us, and referred bluntly to tips and numbers. Third, we were seated at the bar two servers were talking about personal problems and complaining about other staff members right within earshot. Third, because Food was average Italian and as expected for the price.

Best pizza Iâve had in my life hands-down! So fresh, yummy ricotta stuffed crust, I think it was called the rustica. It was fantastic. Everything was PERFECT. It has a nice homey feel, just fancy enough, not stuffy. Love love love this place!!!
