Colorado is home to no less than twenty-six ski resorts such as those in Vail and Breckenridge; other winter activities include snowboarding, sledding, sleigh rides, snow hiking and snowmobiling. The state is blessed with national parks, grasslands and forests where in warmer weather you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking or rock climbing. Wildlife abounds, from bears to moose and raccoons to wolverines. More interested in local history? Head for either the Ute Indian Museum or the Koshare Indian Museum, and don't miss the forts such as Fort Garland and Bent's Old Fort. For a complete change, why not take a ride in a hot air balloon from South Park Valley or Boulder and admire Colorado's picturesque landscape from above?

Spencer in Bully Ranch did an excellent job. He has a great personality and demonstrated excellent leadership skills. He is very knowledgeable of the Vail Colorado area. He was extremely entertained, sure knows his wines and other beverages.

Viceroy Snowmass is the crown jewel of Snowmass Village, Colorado. Designed by Jean-Michel-Gathy of Denniston International, the resort is environmentally conscious through responsible choices of finishes and materials and is a community leader in green operations and guest service offerings. Recently named the #1 Resort Hotel in Colorado in the Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards 2021, the resort offers guests the perfect balance of relaxation and exhilaration. It starts in the lounge, where skiers coast in and out as the snow falls and fire roars during the winter season. It carries through to the restaurant, where the flavors of Colorado high country make you feel right at home. It comes to life in the spa, where you can escape and unwind after a day of skiing, snowboarding, biking, or hiking. With every elevated experience, at any time of year, there’s a certain euphoria in knowing what’s just outside: the cinematic, snow-capped mountains of Snowmass Village.
I would recommend Viceroy SnowMass very highly. Antonio was very in tune to our needs and very efficient. He deserves to be in Management! Antonio is such an asset to the hospitality/travel industry! We had a very pleasant experience at Viceroy SnowMass and the entire staff was warm and welcoming.

There was no room service. We called each morning, multiple times and let the phone ring for a long time in hopes that someone would pick up to order coffee and breakfast, there was never an answer. The bartender in the bar was great. The valet staff was great except when loading the luggage upon leaving, after I tipped him, he left me, a 60 yr. old female to load a good amount of luggage into the SUV,

Be sure not to miss outdoor adventures like hunting, mountain biking, and hiking/biking trails.
Richie Summers in maintenance and Donae at the front desk went above and beyond for us this evening. We had problems with our room. Richie spent an hour trying to fix things and could not find a solution. He went to Donae and upgraded us to a better room with no issues. He even helped move our bags to the new room. Excellent service to make things right. Thank you Richie and Donae!! Also hot springs are great!!

Climate Control Each room at the Grand Lodge is equipped with a ceiling fan, box fan, and at least one opening window to assist with climate control. Consistent with most Colorado mountain resorts, the Grand Lodge does not offer air-conditioning in guest rooms. Pet Friendly Property The Grand Lodge welcomes well-behaved dogs of all shapes and sizes. Pet friendly rooms are limited, so please reserve in advance. A nightly $30 fee for each pet will be charged to your room, and a portion of this fee will be donated to P.A.W.S., a local animal rescue service.
We stayed 3 nights at the Grand Lodge in June 2022 through an Airbnb rental. The hotel was clean and check in staff friendly. I can't comment on the restaurant/bar or gift shop as they close in early May until late June. No problem as we ate all our meals in Crested Butte, where we had many choices. The Lodge was only 10-15% occupied which was great. The location was good for our hikes in the area.

We love staying at the Christiana - so close to the Gondola for ski in-ski out, charming rooms, and amazing large pool- size hot tub. They offer great breakfast options in the cozy and quaint restaurant, great housekeeping service, and Debbie at the front desk is super sweet and helpful.

The best part of our stay at this hotel was Thomas, the bellhop/concierge/shuttle bus driver. He was so helpful, friendly and professional. We were a bit surprised when we arrived to find construction going on. It had not been mentioned at the time of check in. It would have been a winning management decision to give dining discounts for our stay or free beverage card, or something to keep guest happy during this noisy time. The room was cozy and period appropriate. So don't expect in room coffee or refrigerator or microwave. We were disappointed to find dusty wood work in the bathroom but could chalk that up to staff shortages. With the exception of one evening bar tender the entire staff was wonderful, professional and very helpful. Thomas was the delight and Carol at the front desk was very helpful as well. I would hold off making reservations until the remodel is complete. Unless there is an incentive to book now.
