Situated on a beautiful executive, public golf course, just a few hundred yards off the main road. Open seven days a week all year round. Serving lunch, dinner and cocktails all in our newly renovated facility. A private banquet room for up to 60 people
I dragged hubbie to a bunch of clothing stores and craft shops on a rainy Saturday morning so I let him pick the place for lunch. Good Pick!!!! Everything on the menu looked so good that it made the decision difficult. I ended up going with something a bit "fall-ish". French onion soup to start followed by the gobbler sandwich. Hubbie also went for a hearty lunch with the beef barley soup (soup of the day) and a big fat burger. Everything was very good, tasty, and yummy. I loved the Saratoga chips- cut fresh and still warm, perfectly salted. My sandwich was huge and something to make even Ross Geller (NBC's Friends) proud with the cranberry stuffing and mayo making the perfect moist maker for the thick cut Turkey. Hubbie said that his burger was wonderful and that his soup had thick chunks of pot roast in it. My soup, however, is my only real complaint of the meal. There was nothing really wrong with it. Very good actually but it tasted a little flat. It was made without sherry, herbs or anything to give it just a little extra something special. Service was adequate. They were busy. Probably a very nice view of the golf course if not for the pouring rain. Pleasant lunch overall.

Hands down the best Italian Pastries in the Capital District! Their yeast type donuts are to die for, biscotti are the best you can get locally, other cookies and Pastries are very good. But they also excel in Sandwiches - inheriting one of the local recipes for "Neba" style hot roast beef that recalls a bygone era - but other sandwiches are excellent as well, stuffed with best meats and fresh ingredients, served on the best rolls anywhere. Still family run!

Athos was voted one of the 100 Best Greek Restaurants in America by The National Herald. Casually elegant, Athos serves only the very freshest seasonal ingredients, lovingly brought together using time-honored recipes and techniques, like clay pot cooking, and whole fresh fish-filleted table-side.
When in Albany, it is worth your while to eat here. Close to the Crossgates Mall with ample parking- the service is great, plentiful seating and delicious fare. We made last minute reservations for 5 for Sunday night and were immediately seated around 6:30pm. We shared appetizers and a lamb meal, a fish dinner filleted at the table, and even enjoyed some prix fixe in our selections. We all agreed that we would recommend and return again. Also, kudos to Charlie our server for his suggestions and patience. Well done!!

I got this delicious looking email that looked like the most tender steak I've even seen with enticing juices surrounding it - it compelled me to go try their newest addition to the menu (literally in 24 hrs of receiving the email) since I've never ordered anything eating in the restaurant other than the chicken for a main meal. Well there's something to be said for sticking with what you like given the actual steak 'tasted' nothing like the email! Pretty expensive dish ($29) for this place which avgs $15/dinners and while it was tender, it certainly wasn't as great as I had expected - esp not for $29 with DelMonico STEAKHOUSE right next door serving larger steak for less price (24.99). That said continue to love the bones (points) program, the staff (personally greeted by both managers on duty), nice 9 oz (heavy) glass of wine reasonably priced, healthy kids meals (same chicken as adults just smaller), TV access, delicious cornbread - and yep, that same ole yard bird I LOVE - continue to make this place a winner.

Buca di Beppo serves authentic Italian cuisine in an eclectic, vintage setting. Our dishes are served family-style, meant to be shared by everyone at the table. Two sizes are available: BUCA SMALL feeds two or more and BUCA LARGE feeds four or more. At Buca, guests delight in our lively atmosphere, enjoy the classic tunes of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin and admire our decor, including family photos and candid shots of Italian-American icons, such as Sophia Loren and Joe DiMaggio. Our energetic atmosphere, delicious food and friendly staff make Buca di Beppo the perfect place for great Italian food and fun.
We had dinner here with a tour group recently. We were at long tables together & the food was family style. Lots of salad, chicken parm, alfredo, spaghetti, bread and cheese cake.
We all enjoyed ourselves and everyone had plenty to eat. It was my first time dining at this restaurant and I'll sure try it again if I run across another by this name.
Fun place to look at the walls and décor. Very unique!

Traditional/Contemporary Italian Cuisine, affordable entrees, great service, and the atmosphere is sure to please.
While the restaurant was a bit on the loud side, the atmosphere was upbeat and bustling. Once we got our food, we knew why...DELICIOUS!! Outstanding calamari and appetizer specials. From seafood to pasta to chicken..no one was disappointed. Best tiramesu I've had! The service was not rushed and friendly. And the prices very fair and they offer a great coupon on LocalFlavor!. Will definitely go back!

The Cheesecake Factory offers something for everyone featuring a wide variety of over 200 menu items prepared fresh to order each day, plus over 30 legendary varieties of the Finest Cheesecake.
The only place with a beautiful setting was in Waikiki on Kalakaua Avenue, there everything looks and tastes good but the foods in Hawaii are average and you must research everywhere you eat. Helena’s and Il Lupino are excellent places to eat.

My wife and I have always loved "Grandma's", on Central Ave. in Albany, NY, but had not been back since around Thanksgiving time of last year. We went again last evening and, as always, we were taken back to a time when we were both...MoreThank you, I posted your review for our staff to read. That was so nice of you .Again thank you

Our group of four colleagues headed to Caffe Italia for dinner and what a treat! This is a classic Italian neighborhood restaurant, small but nicely appointed and very comfortable.
We were promptly seated, offered beverages, and the pace of service through our entire dinner was perfect. Our waitresses detailed the specials and made recommendations as we ordered, and were helpful, but not overbearing.
The wine list is varied in terms of types and price range, and a full bar is available.
Our appetizers (Utica greens, mussels, and artichoke appetizers) were all well-prepared and tasty. Our entrees were more than ample in size, all served hot and perfectly prepared. The pumpkin cake was a perfect dessert for us to split after dinner.
Super restaurant, and one that I'd absolutely visit again on my next trip to Albany!

We've been here before as it is part of our tradition to visit this ice cream stand as many times as possible during the Spring and Summer. The selection is so extensive so be prepared for some intense reading. Yet whatever one chooses the ice cream is enjoyable. The service staff is always most helpful and able to explain whatever question you might have about the choices you make. Enjoy!
