Stopped by for a take away on our way home, great service and friendly staff. Restaurant was busy which is always a good sign. Waited 15-20 minutes for our food during this time our taste buds were entertained by the constant flow of food coming out of the kitchen. I ordered a dish that Iâve never had before, it was a bit oily and lacked a bit in the flavour department, maybe I should have stuck to what I know to make a decent comparison. My wifeâs curry tasted great and we would definitely return here again.

We visited at 1.30pm on a Sunday lunch time from the outside it looked like it could be a buffet lunch but we didnât really take much notice. We entered and were greeted by a very friendly gentleman who showed us to our table and offered us a drink. We ordered a drink. Then another waiter asked if we would like a popadom we said yes one each these arrived with the drinks. Very nice Then we waited 10-15 minutes no menus were given which I thought was a bit strange and when the waiter arrived he had a trolly full of food for us. When I asked what it was he advised that the buffet was closed. Evacuee they had no booking so they had cooked all this fresh. He told us the dishes. The disadvantage I had was that my other half is vegetarian. Yes there was potatoes and vegetable curry but there was also 4 plates of meat dishes that I had to try and eat. Personally I would have preferred a menu and choose what I wanted to eat. Then we came to pay it was £ 34 for dinner for two and a coke and orange juice. All very nice food and we were stuffed but would have preferred to have been told at the beginning to buffet was closed and told the price for the buffet or offered a menu if the chef was cooking fresh he / she could cook what I preferred to eat. I wonât rush back but would visit in the future.

I dont know if there has been a change of ownership but the service level has totally changed. During our visit it was clear that the place was very understaffed. The food when it did come was OK but the waiting time spoiled the flow of the evening and a few items were lukewarm, it definitely needs to up its game, as its not a low price venue.Hi, thank you so much for your review, We have been working hard over the last few months to improve our service and food, as you can see from other reviews we still have a way to go, but we are definately moving in the right direction.Staff are a massive part of a restaurant, and sadly sometimes you end up employing the wrong people, we have recently taken on more people in all areas of our restaurant so that we can deliver a much better dining experience.I hope you consider giving us another chance soon.
