Reviewed By Vanda BWe were in Coevorden and stayed at the Talens Hotel. Very good hotel. Very polite receptionist. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and varied. I can recomend to somebody. Next time when we are there in Coevorden , I want to satay in this hotel. We liked very much. Very friendly and pleasant.

Great room, central location
Reviewed By Petal090We stayed in a suite (large room) for two nights. Our room overlooked the canal. The room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. It had a small fridge and kettle which we liked. We needed to leave a side window open and put on the small desk fan to get some air in the room. Parking was available (we needed to carry our bags from across the road). The hot water for the shower was good. Something about the room I didn’t like - perhaps more attention to cleaning, vacuuming - there was pieces of chocolate from the previous guest on my bedside table and hair, hair bands on the other side. Regarding breakfast- we had to book a time slot due to COVID restrictions; the eggs and bacon were stone cold. There was Plenty of bread, cheese, cold meat for two people. No fresh fruit or yoghurt. Check in staff were friendly and helpful. It’s an easy walk into the centre of town where you find some nice restaurants etc.

An absolute lovely B&B!
Reviewed By Dutch_Tulip_NLThis great B&B is run by a lovely lady and her friendly husband and along with their three dogs, we were given a warm welcome! The comfortable, two bedroom apartment we stayed in, is absolutely lovely and has a nice view of the canal and the fields. It is very cosy and decorated with taste. The breakfast is incredibly tasty and so lavish, we practically rolled out of there... The dinner suggestion (upon request) was good and we were given some nice tips on what to do the next day. We had a lovely and very relaxing time at Aquamarijn!

Reviewed By hlna07Niet de eerste Keer dat ik er logeer en elke Keer IS het weer een warm ontvangst en een perfecte en niets OP aan te merken bed & breakfast. Hele mooie kamers, bedden uitstekend, héél schoon, ontbijt top, tot in de kleinste détails wordt er voor de gast gezorgd. Allés IS aanwezig, echt allés. Een 5 sterren hôtel IS niet zo compleet als dit adres. Bravo en dank jullie wel!!

Overnachten in Coevorden
Reviewed By Maarten RNa een familiefeestje heerlijk geslapen in de B&B van AJ en Anja. Prettige en gastvrije ontvangst. Kamer was keurig. Jammer van 2 losse bedden. Badkamer hoefde niet gedeeld te worden omdat er geen andere gasten waren. We hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van ontbijt.

Not bad!
Reviewed By 342fionarWe stayed at the Restinn for 3 nights after spending a week In Emmen, so it was a very different setting in town then out to the countryside. Over all, we were very impressed with the free breakfast - so much food it was great! The beds felt like sleeping on a marshmallow. Really liked the small outside space with the privacy from other visitors. On the down side - unfortunately the WiFi wasn’t great at all. Water pressure in the shower wasn’t good. The cleaning could have been to a higher standard (lots of cobwebs!) We also had concerns due to the amount of bites we got, maybe due to dogs being allowed in the rooms? Don’t get caught on booking as we did - you need to pay for your stay in cash, no cards are taken. Visited New Amsterdam but unfortunately pretty much all restaurant were closed, if staying here you would be best to head to Emmen if looking for some dinner! We would consider coming here again the next time we visit The Netherlands, the couple running the rest in were lovely!

Toe aan modernisering
Reviewed By Joost_uit_EchtIk loop het Pieterpad en dit hotel is niet te duur en ligt centraal. Ik werd vriendelijk ontvangen door 2 jonge dames die mij naar mijn kamer brachten. Ze waren op dat moment iets aan het bakken in de keuken. Dit rook je door het hele hotel. Ik had er een kamer voor 2 nachten. De kamers ruiken wat muffig en je hebt er geen eigen badkamer. Deze is gedeeld met de hele verdieping. Evenals de toiletten. Nu was ik er op een doordeweekse dag terwijl er geen vakanties waren in de regio. Maar als het hotel vol zou zitten, dan heb je weinig aan 2 douches en 2 wc's voor een hele verdieping. De bedden liggen goed en de lakens zijn schoon. Het ontbijt is prima en de service van de dames die ik er heb gezien is netjes en goed. Prima prijs/kwaliteit voor als je het Pieterpad loopt.

Reviewed By okkeloenHet was een drama. Jammer dat de eigenaresse bijna alleen maar foto's van huisje Esther laat zien. Wij verbleven in het zgn aangepaste huisje Mirjam. Het was een smerige bende en het stonk er vreselijk. Totaal ongeschikt voor mindervalide personen. Als er brand uitbreekt en je ligt op bed in de slaaphokken (andere benaming hebben we er niet voor) zit je als ratten in de val. Eigenaresse is een zeer opdringerige vrouw, die te pas en onpas met haar "wijze levenslessen" bij je binnen staat. Maak foto's bij aankomst(hebben wij helaas niet gedaan) heb je bewijs, anders ben je je borg kwijt. Kortom. Niet aan beginnen! Er zijn zoveel andere mooie vakantie mogelijkheden in het mooie Drenthe en ook in de omgeving van De Kiel
