This place is like a simple café. If you're in town and feel like a bit of chicken, go and get some fried chicken and chips. Don't forget to get a couple of sausages as well. They're excellent. The ingredients are fresh, the food is properly prepared and it's well known amongst all Kenyans. No matter how rich a person is in Kenya, Kenchic is a favourite.
Small but cosy Cafeteria like restaurant with a seating capacity of 25 people. We cater for typical fast food variety as well as our popular hit Peri Peri Chicken. There is a daily special curry lunch served with rice or roti (indian bread). The rest we l
Very good choice for bitings like mentioned below. We had also ordered chicken piri-piri and a steak . which was good.I think they serve the best bitings in Mombasa. I would recommend Mombasa residents to visit at least once. The down size is the distance we have to travel to visit this restaurant. Without traffic at least 20 minute one way.

It is always very difficult to review food items descriptively !!! But in short, it is good and worth a try. Personally, it is a good option for me. It will appear costly from the other local options but I would say it comes with the brand name and yes, they do serve you the taste and offer a nice and ac environment to sit in. I would suggest 1/4 flame grilled chicken ( extra hot) + regular peri peri chips. other items may not be worth a hit. if you are first timer, be sure to ask for the set of peri peri sauces.

I live locally but found this place by mistake. Went to visit a friend and called there instead of the Apartments next door (where he lives). Best mistake I've made in a long time.Once past the Askari and through the gate you discover this wonderful little bar, small Restaurant and Apartments. I now drink in here 2-3 nights a week as it is a peaceful haven away from the 'Strip' - Tourist Road - in Shanzu. The bar is well stocked and serviced by 3 very good barmen (Juma, Joseph and Samson). There is always music playing (CD's) and if it is not to your taste they will change it for you. The bar prices are cheaper than most places on the strip (except for Forty Pub).My pal and I watched the 6 Nations Rugby in there courtesy of the manager (Godfrey), a most charming and helpful person.I have eaten there on a couple of occasions - the dearest meal being 550ksh for a Peppered Steak and accompaniments. They also do snacks and a nice breakfast.I use it as a bar with occasional food (and the pool) but the place also has 22 Apartments. Although I have not stayed in one I have been showed around them by Godfrey and a friend from the UK has booked for June on my recommendation. They are clean and look to be good value for money. There are various types from Self-contained Cottages to smaller ones with Communal Sitting Rooms. If you are interested check the web site (www.punda-milia-apartments.com) or e.mail Godfrey at ([email protected]). He can also be contacted on 0725 869823.Enough of this - just off to there now for a beer.

10 Street - Ten Meals One Way >> 10 Street is Mombasa's newest fast food restaurant in the heart of Nyali. Mouth watering food fast!
I went to 10 Street for a quick bite of fish & chips, thought it wasn't thoroughly prepared and still a bit raw. I liked the interior, the street art on the walls, the music and the friendly service. What I didn't like were the 10+ flies at my table hoping to join my lunch.
