Welcome to Tapas Cielo voted one of the top 10 bars in Kenya, a stunning lounge bar and restaurant in Nyali, Contemporary decor and comfortable seating create a welcoming atmosphere in Tapas Cielo, where you can meet friends and unwind. Choose your favour
It's a rubbish spot with boring seating & poorly positioned televisions. Would have been alright...but then you realize the staff are deceptive, try to take advantage of you once the night has gone on, then have rude security men backing them up.Just honestly go to the place next door and pay their entrance fee. Much more organised and honest (and client-oriented). Forget this egotistic bar.

Maasai Bars and Restaurants is known for its mouth watering nyama choma and african cuisine.we also have a bar at the beach which prides itself as a house of sea food.wide variety of drinks are sold in the bar.
My family of 5 had dinner here in late July 2019. Itâs an attractive upscale dinner location - outside dining, 70s/80âs disco music, pool tables. The food is quite good and inexpensive ($6-12) per main. We ordered 4 dishes and had leftovers. But the service was terrible. We had more than a 1 hour wait after we ordered. The waitress brought silverware for 2 with the food. She had to be asked twice for plates. The number of requests spurred a visit from the manager, who wanted to make sure we liked the food and didnât appear concerned about the service issues. And although she packed the leftovers up nicely, when I gave the waitress 4000 for the 3850 bill, she went to get change and didnât return for 10 minutes, so I left. Bottom line: be patient, and hope for better service.

Whenever I'm in town the boys & I make it a point to venture into town at night and feast on nyama choma (grilled meat). The pork, beef, chicken and goat are all fantastic accompanied by kachumbari (Kenyan salad), ugali and chips. My favorite is the goat, absolutely delicious! As my boys are there often we're very well taken care of. The service can be pretty dire when it gets busy but as long as you ask, you shall receive. The DJ is brilliant playing old school hip hop, dancehall and soul. Love it! We grew up frequenting this place and long may it continue.

Grill House is a new restaurant and lounge in Nyali (Ratna Square). Enjoy great food and an extensive and varied range of cocktails, wines, spirits & whiskys - all in a comfortable, modern ambiance!
We live near Grill House and have visited several times. I was hoping the poor quality of the food was just limited to certain items, but sadly, it's everything. It seems like a Westerner set up this restaurant, not a local. It is very clean and comfortable, has AC, great music, and a fantastic menu. But their cooks are terrible. I once ordered poussin chicken and it was so overcooked it was as hard as a rock, really inedible. Another time I ordered a "philly cheesesteak," which came on regular sandwich bread instead of a traditional roll. The meat was stringy from silverskin which had not been removed - again inedible. We also have tried their desserts, only to be disappointed every time. Their cake was so dry it was inedible. Their ice cream is disgusting. It's really too bad, because if they could find a capable cook then this would be a good restaurant.

It is a club adding a new dimension to Mombasa's social scene. 'Koroga' means stir or cook in Swahili, and this is what you can do at Koroga country club. Sit in the privacy of your banda and show off your Koroga skills. The a la carte which has a good va
Karoga currently seems to be the most popular Gathering Hole to quench your thirst in the evening after "Baada Ya Kazi". There is ample parking and various sitting types available mostly open which is a welcome break from the typical closed sitting rooms. The place offers Kibanda type of sitting for " Karoga" (means to MIX) where a group of people can cook their own food on JIKO's ( charcoal stoves). All the spices, vegetables (chopped), utensils are provided by the placle. Visited the place multiple times during my visit but did not get a chance to really check out the food menu. Finally lots of chilled Beer available which is also served in Chilled Glasses.

The seafood offer is sumptuous, the service is great and the ambiance is very soothing. The view of the sea is great from the upper deck as the restaurant is right by the sea. This is a place for those of us who are particular about our seafood.

Quiet place perhaps overhauled by its younger neighbours.Pleasant enough for old people (wazees) but the younger set would much prefer the Anuba,Hypnotique etc.The beer is cold, the 80s tunes are nice and one could relax quietly here. The location is certainly very good too.

Great place to relax, they show sports on a lot of different screens. So pick your game and sit down in that section of the bar. The food is mediocre, although I had an African Beef Stew that was delicious. The following chapati was fresh and tasteful. One of the best chapatis I've had in Kenya. Worth a visit.

10 Street - Ten Meals One Way >> 10 Street is Mombasa's newest fast food restaurant in the heart of Nyali. Mouth watering food fast!
I went to 10 Street for a quick bite of fish & chips, thought it wasn't thoroughly prepared and still a bit raw. I liked the interior, the street art on the walls, the music and the friendly service. What I didn't like were the 10+ flies at my table hoping to join my lunch.
