We have eaten several times at Erriseask Restaurant at the Connemara Sands Hotel, and it keeps getting better! Chef Stefan Metz of Michelin fame provides an extraordinary prix fixe tasting menu that is a delight to the palate and the purse. Our most recent experience was the best of local fish and shellfish in a luscious sauce, followed by rack of lamb raised locally on the hills of Connemara. The divine dessert was a combination of rich cream & crispy slivers of coconut on an apple compote base. The price per person was 49 Euro, excluding wine! Donât tell too many people; we want to keep this to ourselves!

We ate here 2 nights running at the end of August. Very tasty well cooked food. Good variety and the service was great. We were not rushed and I think the food was good value.I particularly enjoyed the Tai Green curry.

We had two evening meals here. The restaurant is in the front of the hotel in a spacious room with pleasant wall paintings.There is a good choice in the menu and it is well presented. The waiters and waitress were most polite and certainly made us feel at home. I would highly recommend it.Thank you for taking the time to review our Cosy Bar. We are pleased you enjoyed our menu.
