Lovely bed and breakfast accommodation right at the pier in Cleggan. Rooms are small but very clean and the quality of the breakfast was very good. The location is great and you can get the ferry to Inishbofin from the Pier, it's a lovely island and well worth a visit. The food in the bar and restaurant was excellent we had fish both nights and it was delicious and very good value for money. The owners and staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. There are lots of unspolied beaches in the area and plenty of places to swim. Omey Island is only a short distance away and well worth a visit. Would definitely stay in Olivers again.

Such a beautiful place, a really quiet and peaceful escape. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave great suggestions for food, hiking and exploring the area. Really clean, very large rooms with beautiful views of the countryside. Comfortable and clean.

Stayed for two nights at this lovely B&B. Our room consisted of two bedrooms and a bathroom. In the evening we were sitting with a cup of tea and looked out over the sea and all the lighthouses. With Art Pepper playing it was almost surreal. The hosts were fun, friendly and helpful and made us feel really welcome. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The room was small but was perfect. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed in it. We had a fabulous view of the harbour and were literally around the corner from some of the most exquisite beaches I’ve ever seen. The breakfast was amazing and the hosts Loretta and Michael made sure we had the dining room to ourselves as I was super anxious about covid. Harbour House is beautifully decorated, a real labour of love in my opinion and the hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. It’s location is perfect for traveling around Connemara, being on the door step of the ferry to Inishbofin and a short drive from the stunning Kylemore Abbey and Ballinahinch Castle. We will definitely be returning here and would highly recommend it.

I always wanted to visit the West coast of Ireland, so found this b&b overlooking the Atlantic. Very quiet location, room a bit small but comfortable. Very chatty owner kept us entertained during our large breakfast. Lovely paths to village and beaches, it helped that we had glorious weather. Travelled along the West Altantic Way in the area. Fantastic views and will return to do more of the area in the near future. The pictures are of Cleggan harbour and a nearby beach.

Our hosts Bernie and Willie were both amazing!! Despite check in time not being until in the afternoon Willie kindly let us not only park our car for the day at the B & B ( prior to check in time ) so we could then walk down and catch the ferry to Inishbofin for the day. Willie was really welcoming and informative upon arrival, we can thank Will enough for letting us check in early and for the parking! Cois na Mara B & B is situate about 10 minutes walk outside of Cleggan. Lots of car parking space and excellently positioned for the ferry to inishbofin. Well located for Clifden, Connemara National Park and so on......Bernie was fantastic, really helpful and informative about the local area and was a pleasure to speak with. Good breakfast choices provided in a nice dining room. I enjoyed Full Irish Breakfast both days! Accommodation was great, a nice spacious room with good ensuite facilities. Tea and Coffee ( with biscuits ) in room. A nice Electric wall mounted heater helped warm us up in the morning and evening. Cois na Mara is a lovely place to stay only bettered by our hosts Bernie and Willie. This is a 5* Recommendation from me!!! Oh and in the evening we were heading off to Oliver's ( Pub ) in Cleggen for a beer or 2, Bernie kindly offered us both a lift down, this was extremely kind of them and appreciated by us. We'd certainly stay here again!! Thank you Bernie and Willie, from Tony and Paula !!!

The worst place I have ever been for food ever. The staff went above and beyond to be rude to me especially the man behind the bar knowing I wasn’t a local, when I was placing my order he seen a local come in and within seconds midway through my order he asked him his order and left me waiting for a further 20 minutes. The menu was extremely poor, sandwiches, chips and a chowder was all the was on the menu at 6pm in the evening? They said dinner didn’t start until 7pm but then I seen another person having a dinner? The place was extremely dirty, 2 dogs in the restaurant? I ordered a sandwich and a portion of chips. The chips were virtually oven chips brought to me in a kids basket with a napkin thrown on top of them. The sandwich was served in a plastic bag not even cut in half? It took 25 minutes to make this. When I tried to pay the man ignored me again. The young girl working there was absolutely worked off her feet. If I could give no stars I would. Only benefit is it was very cheap.
