Reviewed By Discover401810We stayed Sunday 5th June 2022. We were shocked to find that the hotel does not provide sun beds or umbrellas on the beach for their guests only at the pool area. We arrived and checked in late, the concession on the beach wanted to charge us at 5pm until 7pm $95 for 2 beds and an umbrella (be warned, this is the daily charge). Considering this hotel is not cheap I think it's ridiculous they do not at least have a discounted price for hotel guests. To top it all the "daily" hotel car parking charge was not for 24hrs. We checked in 5pm and had to check out at 11am next day, we wanted to spend the day on the beach but was told as we had checked out (no choice) we would be charged $20 an hour extra....we left and went somewhere else! We will not be back at this hotel, we have a choice, they are very greedy. Not worth it, hotel is tired! we will choose another next visit to Clearwater beach.

Reviewed By vaughanm1976Nice location on the beach. The pool area was very nice with a bar and small cafe available of orders without going inside. Rooms were very comfortable and in good shape. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Daily housekeeping.

A superb return stay in a truly lovely Marriott - super location
Reviewed By WokkooneStayed 2 nights in 2 rooms to close off our family tour of Florida - a return visit for us and our memories were renewed in a positive way - well done Team Marriott…. The all suit hotel is spotless clean and superbly maintained - rooms are a great size and super comfortable in all respects. The team go over and above to make your stay a pleasurable one - from check in to check out. Pool is busy and super nice - bars and food are good - a little pricey but nothing like Miami prices…. We ate in and it was great - also out Maggie Mays across the boardwalk and the Clearsky Cafe for breakfast - with lunch at Frenchys - easy to get out to the main beach area using the free trolley - every 30 mins. Views and atmosphere were super - cocktails and discounted jet skis too - with dolphin spotting a regular occurrence in the bay. Don’t be out off as it’s not in the main beach area - Sand Key is easy to reach and a little more exclusive in our opinion - lower cost and higher standards than other big names in Clearwater. All in - a top hotel in every respect and looking forward to a return.

Great little hotel with private beach

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the front desk staff - then by everyone after that...even the maid service! The coffee machine in the lobby is amazing - I think I tried a different type of coffee each time I went! They have a lovely pool with bar service and an amazing private beach! The rooms are average but clean and you can tell this is an older but updated hotel which adds to the charm of Clearwater Beach. Park and you never need to drive anywhere else - except maybe to the aquarium which is their business partner and offers great discounts!

Want to mention desk clerk Valentina who was so helpful with my booking and also once we arrived, yes, there is a band at the hotel next door, but when we closed the door on balcony you barely hear it. We enjoyed the free entertainment. Location was great, convenient to grocery, ABC store and restaurants. We walked to all of these. Beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Okay for the price
Reviewed By kimberlystapleWell. You get what you pay for. The room was spacious. The sheets were not soft. Should bring your own beach towel if u plan to swim. Our kids feet were black within 5 minutes of getting out of the bath. We had to have sheets brought up for the couch bed so we asked the guy for a mop so we could clean the floor. He kinda chuckled and said probably not this time of night. So I used towel and water from sink to clean. All in all not aweful but, not the best experience either
