I have been eating cheesesteaks for more years than I can count. What I found with this one was the meat was "grainy". I am used to shredded beef and this was almost like ground beef. While I did not witness the cooking, it seemed to be pre-cooked then warmed. The cheese was sparse and the pepper and onions no completely cooked. The portion was good and the rolls nice and soft. Still like others more.

Food was excellent. Had very good service. Parking not great. But, really enjoy going there. The meal is a big serving. I get enough for two meals and always take half home.

This independently run shop in a converted gas station, offers a vast number of flavors of hand scooped Hershey Brand ( big in NYC) ice cream. The choices are overwhelming as are the combination of sundaes, cones and, shakes which are offered. The owners/employees are pleasant, helpful and patient and the portions are generous. In cooler temps, they also serve home made soup ( to go, too!) ample picnic tables are there for consuming the ice cream and and classic cars, etc are housed there some in those pastel colors of t yesteryear which only complement the ice cream flavors and colors. For those who prefer, I think there is soft serve 'ice cream" from a machine, too...

This is a very busy store, the drive-thru was 5 cars deep and inside the line was 7 people deep. The person at the register worked in extremely slow motion and was taking orders, cashing you out, pouring coffee and getting donuts. I'm not sure what the other 3 people were doing, because they certainly weren't making iced drinks or making the hot sandwiches. A gentleman was waiting for his iced coffe when I arrived, he was still waiting for that drink 20 minutes later.
I ordered the new porkroll sandwich and waited about 15 minutes for it to be made. A young man working to make the sandwiches when done would yell what the sandwich was rather than the order number; no one could understand him as English was not his first language. People were standing around trying to figure out what he was saying, finally the cashier had to come over and straighten it all out. I chose to get my order to go because the few tables they have were not clean. What should have been a 10-15 minute stop was close to 50 minutes. The sandwich did end up being pretty good even though they made it with fried egg whites and not a fried egg and only 1 slice of porkroll. The croissant was very good and complimented the egg, cheese and porkroll nicely.
I might think about giving this place another try, but with so many other DD's in the area I might just avoid it.

I used to come to Charlie's all of the time for lunch when I worked in the area, since I was in the area on a Saturdy, I thought I'd give it a try. I was hoping for some type of special but since it was a Saturday they had none, so I ordered the 8" personal pizza made on foccacia. It was piping hot and delicious....probably the best personal pizza I've had in a very long time. The foccacia was very thin, the sauce not too acidic and chunk free and a good amount of cheese.
The place was more run down than I remembered it, the ceiling tiles stained and dirty, the floor tiles curling in spots and a long paneling covered prep bar stacked with pizza boxes. It just screamed old. There are 3 tables with a total of 5 chairs so staying and eating can be problematic and there is no table service. If you order a soda with your food you will have to get it out of the cooler yourself. It's OK for a quick bite once in a while, but not a place I would go out of my way to go to

Friends brought us here to sample the best hoagies around. I inadvertently called it a sub and was given "the eye." How amazing the hoagie was! I had an "authentic" and could not have been happier. Fresh ingredients, friendly service...yup. Charmed this southerner into hoagie heaven.

Krystyna's Polish Bakery occupies a small retail space in the Booth's Corners Farmers Market. The Paszci (huge filled doughnuts) are excellent; the rye bread is pleasantly dense and full of rich rye flavor. From their refrigerator, you can also buy the best pierogies you've ever tasted including your grandma's. The market is open on Friday and Saturday.....get there early for the best selection of traditional Polish treats.

The best thing about this place is they offer bus service home if you drink too much. The good is just average bar food, nothing to write home about.
