Reviews on Mediterranean food in Havana, Ciudad de la Habana Province, Caribbean. A city trapped in time, Havana captures the imagination like no other. Faded glamour meets careful colonial-era reconstruction with a backdrop of irresistible color. Walk El Malecón, the walkway bordering the ocean; visit Old Havana and the Catedral de San Cristóbal; and listen for salsa music, open-air bazaars and parties that last all night.

That place was a very positive surprise. We were so overheated and hungry running some chores in Miramar and then we saw that place. The entrance is a bit understated and design is simple but tasteful. I personally have doubts about Italian food in Cuba, so we did not try any typical Italian dishes. However after having their seafood I would give it a try when we are there the next time. The food we ordered was really tasty and perfectly seasoned. Cooked a bit well but not overcooked as it often happened to us in Havana. The drinks are really great, one of the best mojitos. Service was very friendly. We had the best experience and definitely will go there again! The check was a fraction of what we were charged the day before at another restaurant in Miramar that I am also is going to write about, but the food and drinks are many times better. Highly recommended.

A cozy place, in Vedado, Havana, Cuba. We distinguish good service with Internation Food. Come on, This is the VIP of Havana.
I have eaten here a few times and pleased every time with the food and service. Large open space with two story ceiling (rest rooms are upstairs). Paella is the restaurant specialty and I suggest that is what you order. Very tasty. Service is good. Sometimes there is a piano player (give him a tip) and old movies playing against one of the walls.

From the reviews the restaurant sounded great. The restaurant has an Italian theme and those who had pasta enjoyed their dinner. I tried the lamb and it was really bad. Very tough. I had a hard time chewing it. I might go back there and would definitely stick to the pasta dishes. Pasta is homemade In the restaurant. I think I just ordered the wrong dish. Place is very nice. Homes are either side are in shambles but Opera has been restored and is very nice.Dear Client, Thanks for your opinion an all your comments, We will take seriously your feedback. and hope that you can visit us again,Our Best Regards, OPERA Staff

This is a very charming rustic pizzeria. Service was excellent, beer nice and cold.Iâm a pizza snob and very fussy.I have eaten at award winning pizza restaurants around the world. This was honestly the best pizza I have ever eaten . I canât begin to describe how amazing it was ! The menu is extensive and I sincerely hope I get to visit Havana again to try others .If you love pizza and are in Havana, do not hesitate to eat here , itâs fabulous.

Venami has good quality pizza and pasta. It is Cuba so you canât expect Italian. They serve a wonderful pesto to the table. Pizzas are almost too big to be single serve so it is acceptable to share. We also had a 4 cheese pasta which included a touch of blue cheese. Itâs not one of those done up fancy restaurants but does the trick! I have eaten there probably 4 or 5 times over many visits to Havana.

They have now added tables out on the "sidewalk". Adding a whole new dimension. Everything I have said previously still stands. The food is consistently good. The post chops are to die for, and in a country that lives off pork that is really saying something. The staff is attentive and polite. Overall, a great place to duck in to and recuperate after tiring yourself out walking around old havana. Ask them to make you a pork chop sandwich. With sautéed onions... amazing. Off menu and you may have to explain twice what you want but damn... one of my favourite lunches in Havana.Amir:We are very pleased that you enjoyed your experience at San Ignacio 214. We appreciate your review. Thank you!!! We wait for you on your return, it will always be a surprise. It is our commitment. Thank you Best regards
