Recommended to friends after reviews and one past experience that was good. One hour after arriving on the ferry told they had run out of food. The place was not full. Only a few items left on the menu. Mains came before entree after two hours . Then only half the entrees arrived. The main meal of prawns and scallops was disgusting. I don’t want To go any further than to say a twelve year old could have put that meal together.

Vibe: Ultra low key. On this Winter’s day the “shed” was initially cold and breezy. After the staff set up the heater it was toasty.Food: Mussels 100 ways! I had the chef’s selection of the day. It was around 30 mussels in a soy and chillie based stock. Rated 11/10! My partner’s scallop pie was pretty good.Service: Staff were great company and knowledgeable.Drinks: Bellarine Brewery makes a mussel stout for them. Self described flavours of “Coffee, liquorish and a lingering taste of the sea”. Almost like a cola/sarsaparilla with strong liquorish flavour. Sharp taste. Very weird but not unpleasantGreat experience all around, and good value for money.
