A very enjoyable meal. Excellent customer service. Pricing spot on for the standard of the meals. Friendly owners. Highly recommend.

Casual dining fish and chip restaurant
That this place is licensed with well priced wine by the glass and has efficient service gets it over the line. Food OK without being wow. And my pet hate, their signature fish of king George whiting....P.O.A. on the menu, despite it being now abundant in the bay it overlooks !!! A sticky date/caramel sauce at $ 10 was winner. The Licensed factor probably the reason I would go back

We went to this restaurant for our anniversary. The seating is spaced out well so that you aren't sitting on top of each other. We had 3 courses each no the food was very tasty and extremely well presented. I would recommend the scallops for entree and we both had yellow fin tuna which was so well cooked. Finishing the meal with a wonderful panacotta. Over looking the harbour at Geelong was a great view for lunch. The service was really good very friendly and attentive. This is not a cheap fish and chip restaurant it was expensive but was happy to pay the prices for great food and wine. The wine list is quite extensive so lots to choice from.

Since 1976, Le Parisien has offered fine food, wines and dedicated service to the Geelong region. Opened by Lorraine and Jean-Paul Temple on the 11th of November 1976, Le Parisien is still run by the Temple family with their children and grandchildren now
We booked dinner on Saturday night to celebrate a special occasion after having a very enjoyable experience last December celebrating a birthday. Upon arrival we discovered (bookings and website did not disclose this) that it has changed hands. It is NOT a French restaurant anymore. The menu was very simple, no french dishes, the wine choice very limited. Paid $49 for a scotch steak plus $6 extra for pepper sauce. Vegetables were not hot and steak not cooked as per request. Other guests experienced similar poor standard. Our beers (price $11) were served in a glass with Carlton on it which looked like a Coke glass you would buy from Mc Donalds When paying was asked How was the night. My reply ( and this is the first time I have been honest ) was this was not Parisien. We should have been informed. She informed me of the new name and I held up the receipt with Parisien Restaurant on top. She replied it takes a lot of time to change things over. Don't go
