This is a wonderful old bar loved by locals and tourists. Finding a chair can be difficult, but just take a walk and return. Service is not excellent, but I felt much happier having visited this place than any of Hemingways preferences in Havanna.

The restaurant has a privileged position in Cienfuegos, however the service was very slow and the food was terrible. Shrimps were overcooked and bad smelling, fish was like a gum. The waitress was nice and musician also, but the owner was rude with our opinion. The cocktails quality was poor. Anyway the view is awesome, we suggest you to visit it for a couple of minutes an take a beer of coke at the terrace.

Good thing we dropped by here. This is a government run restaurant. The food was not expensive. Under $2.00 CUC person and plenty of change to spare. The drinks are good and cold and was about $1.00 each. Keep the tab or pay as you buy your drink or they will over charge you for the drinks.
Where to eat Cafe food in Cienfuegos: The Best Restaurants and Bars
This is a new restaurant/bar, and we were welcomed with open arms by the bartender Michel who made our visit outstanding. It is situated a few doors up from Las Mamparas which is a very highly rated and busy restaurant. So if you don't want to wait, definitely visit Arte G. The food is great and very well priced. The staff are very friendly and go that extra mile for you which we found uncommon in Cuba (in general). Even if you don't eat, Michel makes great cocktails!!
