No doubt, that unconventional things add more bright colors to our life, the same as visiting of uncommon places. With all that said, I can call De Sea Almond Hotel in Chumphon as one of the most unusual hotels we have ever settled in. It’s not just a hotel with a number of rooms, which, more or less, looks the same, no, each room in this hotel is one-of-a-kind one. We were lucky enough to spend one night in the room number three on the first floor, a two-story fort-like room with a big bathtub and spacious balcony with a sea-view, and it we did really enjoy the opportunity to warm ourselves in a hot bath with bubble bath (kindly provided by the hotel) first, and then cool ourselves with one famous cold drink, sitting on the balcony. Just one little advice: start taking hot water into the bath in advance as the flow of the water was water pressure was quite weak. For example, it took us about one hour to fill the bath. Yes, the hotel isn’t brand-new one, at all, and it definitely needs renovation here and there. However, we would be happy to visit De Sea Almond, once again, mostly, because of the vibe of this place.

We consider this place one of the best options without breakfast, we’ve ever chosen for stopover. Apart from trite, but important things, which exist here (like attractive price per night, comfy beds, hot shower and so on), it has great location which is vital, especially, if you, (as we were) have no more than one day to make an acquaintance with the city. Besides, we were impressed by the room here: apart from it was quite spacious, it was also really stylish and even had a little terrace for smoking. In other words, it's a lovely place. When we come back to Chumphon (because, we realized, that one day was genuinely not enough for us), we’ll definitely stay here, again.

A small place for quite lovers with beach in front of the bungalow. Even though the bungalow is small and seem simple but Inside decoration is far different from outside. Bedding and towel and amenities is good, as well as wifi signal. Because of it's during pandemic situation, so there is no breakfast and any meal as well. But there are some small food shops around just 5-10 mins walk. The most impressive is helpful service and serenity.

Aranya Resort is well worth a visit. It's located a few kilometres out of town but easily found on satnav. Accommodation is in beautiful colourful bungalows, each with their own fresh colour scheme, set around a central garden. Staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly.
