Find out what Chinese restaurants to try in Pattaya. A visit to Pattaya is a wonderful way to explore the beaches along the Gulf of Thailand. Relaxed and family-friendly Jomtien Beach is a hot spot for watersports and seaside massages. The giant Buddha of Wat Khao Phra Bat keeps watch over the city, and the wooden Wang Boran Sanctuary of Truth pays homage to Buddhist and Hindu art and architecture. At night, tons of bars and strip clubs attract an adults-only crowd.

We are one the finest Indian veg thali host for the everyone who wish to have the same while enjoying exotic and fascinating sightseeing in Thailand, It was quiet difficult for most of Indian travelers who fly for Thailand to find pure vegetarian Indian &
Strolling on the backside of Pattaya Beach, the area is full of small Indian eateries. So full, that its almost confusing where to sit down with so many options. Going by the gut feeling, after few arguments with my fellow traveller (who incidentally was keen on tandoori chicken) we entered into Govindam which is a pure vegetarian Indian restaurant. Smilingly greeted - its a small clean place - more of a budget joint. I look down the menu while my friend keeps grumbling about the chicken ! I order a full thali (set meal) comprising of paneer (cooked cottage cheese with gravy), another vegetable, dal (lentils), rice and the bread option of naan. The food arrives in around 10-15 minutes, its hot and freshly cooked. I dip into the veggies.....and. Well I have travelled around Thailand and in specially Phuket visited quite a few Indian restaurants. While they did serve Indian curries, but all of them ....yes all of them lacked soul. So here we are experimenting one more time in Thailand, Indian curries. Well the moment I took the first morsel, my fingers curled up to lick the rest of gravy ! The preparations were so delicious that I was astounded that how could such perfect Indian food be served in another country ? So while having my food, I struck up a conversation with the owner of the joint who was sitting in the corner with a few friends of his. I asked him and he replied he was from Rajasthan. Then I asked him to say congrats to his chef for cooking such good meal and he replies that I could congratulate him instead as he is behind his chefs to cook to perfection ! I said nothing doing, its chef's work, and the friendly banter continued. Well the soul of Indian food is the Indian masalas. Your perfect Indian gravy is not spicy not bland, but a perfect combination of masalas cooked with fresh ingredients. For a price of 250 bahts this place is a bulls eye if you are craving for soulful Indian food. It is another matter that I had to take my friend to the adjoining restaurant for his chicken.

the server acted like she didnt want to help me. when i asked about the dishes she would look out the window. ordered the veg thali for 200 plus 7% tax. (mentioned in small print at the bottom of the page) surprised it didn't come with a small dosa since that's what the place is called. the various dishes were on the oily side. the rice was flavorless and dry. with 100s of Indian places to choose from I don't know how this place stays in business. indeed I was the only customer in the place for the 45 minutes I was in there.
