It was recommended that I come here to enjoy fabulous Thai food, and, I was not disappointed. Tasty nicely spiced fish balls, and, a chicken dish that had a good bite to it. A great atmosphere, the location right on the water with sea views, the staff, friendly, helpful, who gave good service. A special mention to A lovely lady, her name was âIâ, who did a top job. Highly endorsed, that you pay this place a visit.

This restaurant is at the Intercontinental hotel resort. Walk down the stairs through the harder for a wonderful outdoor evening experience. The fish dinner was perfectly prepared. I was so impressed when I first arrived at Mum Aroi Restaurant. What an impressive view especially at sunset. It is literally breathtaking and in such a festive atmosphere with large groups of people celebrating either the weekend or a birthday, etc. Then the food came which started with an impressive fried seafood fried rice. It was absolutely delicious. Then other courses arrived and it went down hill from there. Perhaps most disappointing was the deep fried calamari which tasted strange and was very good. The rest of the food was ok but rather typical generic Thai seafood. In the end, I felt a TA 3 rating was most fair. However, this is a great venue if you have a large group of people for dinner.

We went along on Friday night. The Seafood Buffet. The cost was reasonable. The setting, eye opening. Presentation was, excellent. The view fabulous. Being a buffet it was self service to select with ease.Waiter service, to order a world wide selection of wines, spirits and beers. Over two hours at our table we were able to enjoy much that was on offer. The white prawns were the only tasteless dish we experienced. Where as, every change of plate was a delight to eat, and no left overs. The wet dishes were worth a second run. Some time ago I gave a mixed review to Le Caprice which criticised the food. I am delighted to say that there has been a wonderful improvement. The pre-diiner drinks are first class and served with complimentary amuse gueules.The menu is very well judged, created by cooking of the highest quality and very delicious.The restaurant- always beautiful - looked pristine and sharp. Thibault and Morc, along with the other members of staff, were charming and attentive.To this cynical diner, the whole experience was a treat. Good vibe at beach front restaurant. Unfortunately, we are only able to order from the full-board package menu, unable to change with regular menu if we don't like items on package menu (but can order more from regular menu). The sashimi is a bit smell like chemical but the rests are fine.

My stay here was extremely comfortable. Beautiful property with tropical feels. Loved the large range of vegetarian and vegan options in the breakfast. Used to look forward to it each morning. Was impressed to see the hotel having replaced plastic with refillable glass bottles for water in the rooms. Hotel is just on the beach side and placed in the heart of Pattaya City with almost all the tourist attractions close by. Staff was courteous and warm. Great decor, good food, well presented, and plenty of selections if you are quick. Unfortunately the group tours spoil what should be a pleasant dining experience by mobbing the buffet and pushing and shoving other customers out of the way. The staff try to assist, but the cultural attitude of the group tourists preclude any sense of decorum or politeness.Rudeness should not be tolerated. Nor should it be hidden when reviewing a restaurant as other people should be aware of the facts.
