The quality of this B&B far exceeded the photos and my expectations. Everything in the property is new, high quality, impeccably clean, stylish. Every detail is thought through. Service is excellent. Located 5 min. walk from the central square of Cholula, less than 10 min walk from the main Cholula pyramid and the church on top of it, minutes away from all major churches, less than 10 min away from the city market. Many restaurants and cafes in the radius of the nearest few blocks. Several laundry services within 2 blocks radius. The room is pleasantly cool on hot days and comfortably warm during cold nights. High speed WiFi, hot shower with good water pressure. It was my favorite hotel of the latest 4 visits to Mexico, different states and different cities and towns. Great quality for price too. If you stay in Cholula - definitely have dinner at Spezzia Pasta Bar. The place was recommended to me by the hotel, and I am very grateful they did. The food is exquisite: pastas, salads, desserts, drinks. Not Mexican, but you will be happy you went there. I had dinners in several other places in Cholula, and they can't compare to Spezzia, not even close. Spezzia's food could easily compete with that of a high-rated and high-priced restaurant in a major city like NYC or any big European city.

Three colleagues and myself were working over a two week period in the state of Puebla, and while in Cholula we stayed in Hotel El Cristo. In total we stayed five staggered nights, and carried on to Ciudad Serdan for work in between. Essentially it's a feudal estate converted to a hotel, with massive open grounds, right next to the heart of the San Pedro district of Cholula. It's 5-7 mins walk to the pyramid, and we walked throughout the neighborhood day and night without any worries. The staff were very kind, helpful and accommodating to our odd arrival hours and lack of Spanish. The rooms have a lovely rustic feel to them, and the property hosts a wide variety of amazing trees and vegetation, including avocado and papaya trees. There is an outdoor pool set in a grassy lawn. The breakfast is served in a restaurant across the accommodation, with a choice of delicious Mexican omelettes, you also get fresh fruit with a dollop of yogurt, pastries and coffee. The outside seating area of the restaurant has stunning views of the pyramid and church, and we happened to have breakfast while a volcano was puffing out some ash clouds in the distance. The place is at first a bit difficult to find (it isn't clearly signposted), but you won't miss it once you know where it is. If you are visiting Cholula and want to have large rooms, peace, and class, this is the place to stay at.

Brand-newly opened in 2017, the Cholula Rooms Bed & Breakfast is in a privileged location to reach the main attractions of the ancient pyramid town Cholula, Puebla. Based on the second floor of a hometown householder built in the 80s, the B&B is located at Cholula’s main street, just a 10-minute walk from downtown, where 16th century churches surround the Great Pyramid, with “Nuestra Senora de los Remedios” Sanctuary on top and Cholula’s Regional Museum at the bottom.
I stayed in the wood room. Eric and his staff were extremely nice and helpful and Eric speaks fluent English. The room was very clean and the hotel is easy walking distance to the pyramid, the Zocalo, markets and restaurants. Cholula is a beautiful place to visit with lots to see and friendly people.
