Had lunch here today and was very satisfied with the fish I chose. The service was also very friendly! Heard that this is the best restaurant in town.

Most foreigners passing through eat at U-Ribaka, but this place was also good, but smaller. There were about 6 tables inside and maybe 8 outside on a covered porch. Menu was same as everywhere, although prices seemed better. On the evening I dined there was only Arpa on tap, no other beers and the Arpa was flat. No internet if that's important for you and it had a 12" TV on above the bar area that nobody could see, but it still filled the restaurant with the TV program noise.

In our cafe we only use organic and locally grown products coming from farmers' fields in Tyan Shan Mountains and from local peasants' Gardens. With Piligrim you will have a tour to the world of gastronomy. The menu offers variety of courses from all over the globe, including central asian, chinese, russian, italian and mediterranean cuisine.
the place is just awesome. Astonishing lake view and scent of flowers surrounding the tables create truly Mediterranean atmosphere. The service was both great and very quick. I liked the fact that the owners source food ingredients from local farmers only. Evelina, one of the owners, was so kind and welcoming and gave our group great advice about local sightseeings.

Одно из самых респектабельных мест Чолпан Аты. Вроде неплохо, недорого. Но посетителей нет. Наверное не сезон уже, хотя в начале сентября было еще тепло. Кальян дешевый, но абсолютно беспонтовый.

Comfortable homelike place providing the best conditions for any customer, highest level of service, the best dishes of traditional Kyrgyz, European and Chinese cuisine. Enjoy our karaoke-bar singing all night long
I've eaten lagman which was quite tasty, also the beer and tea what we ordered were great. It was some kind of private family event going on at the same time we had our diner, but they served us as well. In the winter the interior part is quite small, but without the tourists, I guess it's enough.

For me, it was the dipping sauces for the kebabs that won me over. Yum! But I also appreciate the decor, cleanliness, professionalism and attentiveness of the staff, and wine. It accommodates groups of any sizes. It's a great change from the mass produced food of the surrounding resorts.

For good, inexpensive food in the center of town, try Ursus Cafe. The restaurant is across from the post office and the Issyk-kul Museum. Our small group chose to eat outside and the dining area was neat, clean, and quite comfortable. We had tea, bread, lagman (a noodle soup) and a Russian ravioli soup with homemade noodles. The restaurant wasn't fancy but the food was good and the staff was friendly.
