As hotel was on the bank of river and now on river army has built short of wall so one side of flow is not there and became tar road and lots of hotels popped up. Room was cleaned. Staff is very friendly particularly Mr. Arjun. Unfortunately in the month of May 3rd May) it was raining very heavily. Breakfast has little choice but sufficient. Book your activities and forward bus journey by yourself only do not do it through hotel staff. In house restaurant has limited menu but food was very good and reasonable. Lots of nice hotels in the vicinity at same rate with better infra and facilities.

Sarang Wildlife Sanctuary is a unique jungle lodge built on isolated jungle property of 18.1 acres. Each cottage is designed in the manner of local Tharu tribe cottages with added modern comforts and amenities . Our operational concept is built on conservation, responsible tourism, and a commitment to local communities. We give employment preference to local villagers and employ active measures to conserve energy and resources consumed within our operations. Our resort is fully self contained and we own our own on site restaurant, elephants, boats, and off road vehicles to ensure activities operate smoothly. We offer various all inclusive packages which we are happy to customize to meet your needs as an individual traveler or group.
I recently spent two night at this resort and have to say that it was one of my worst travel experiences. We were taking for a boat ride in the river, which was pleasant and were expected to meet down the river bank with a set up picnic to view the sunset. When we arrived, there was no one there and were told that there was a slight delay and the set up would be done in five minutes. The five minutes turned into one hour and there was a “no show”. We stood at the bank like idiots while the rest of the customers from the other resorts enjoyed a relaxed sunset. I rang and tried to talk to the manger who had nothing but excuses to present which seemed to suggest that it was not their fault. Not only was he not helpful but also rude, impolite and lacked the basic communication skills to deal with a justifiably irate client. Upon return to the resort, I asked to meet the manager but he was conveniently absent. I categorically asked to speak with him, but he did not show up and even when we left the next morning he was no where to be found. I guess he did not think that it was worthwhile or necessary to personally explain and apologize to the client. I have never felt so taken for granted in my entire life. There was also no hot water in the room and when we had complained we were told that “perhaps we had turned the wrong nob” because there is constant “boiling” water in the property (we must be a bunch of idiots). They however promised to look into it and assured us of hot water but when we returned after the no show - “no hot water” (why am I not surprised). They then promised to look into the matter and at around 10:00 said they would send an electrician!!!! Two days no shower is not a fun way to experience a safari. On the positives, the support staff was friendly and genuinely welcoming , the food was good (nothing to rave about but good), the jungle safari was fun if you were willing to overlook the dilapidated condition of the vehicle, the room was simple but spacious but evident that they had not done a check to see if it was in good order before clients were hosted (power plugs not working, no batteries in the remote, not well aeriated etc). The entire set up lacked the “eye for details”. Over all very disappointed and would not recommend this resort to anyone who is looking for a relaxing, rejuvenating and stress free experience.

Lovely hotel with gourgeous gardens surrounding it. The pool was lovely and a delight after a hot walking safari. The staff are very friendly food was good and our trip guide Hari made the trip! We saw lots of animals and enjoyed the boat trip too. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Safari Adventure Lodge set in a 20 Ropani of land is located just adjacent to the Chitwan National Park, where the trees form the castle in the woods;you hear the branches creaking, wind whistling and see the animals crushing their limbs to the ground. The beauty of nature that adds to our resort will certainly comfort your heart. As you turn your head, you will see the glorious traditions that are still alive around you, in the place and services we provide you. To have a good experience of wildlife and culture, we have well furnished rooms in the main building and also in the traditionally designed huts , with 24 hours air conditioning and other amenities that assure you a pleasurable stay. " We have the service that won't disappoint you. Come and See what difference a stay makes. "
This lodge has lots of potential but needs upgrading. The grounds were very nicely cared for and well appointed but the cabins need upgrading since they were musty and decor lacking. Admittedly there were renovations underway in the main lodge so hopefully this will improve the state of the lodge in the future

One of the highlights of our month-long post-Covid trip to Nepal. Comfortable room, expansive east-facing garden garden with generous tables for sundowners, attentive staff, particularly Sugam. But all of this is secondary to the rhino who ambles through at breakfast, followed by the elephant at sundown who turns up for washing in the river. These beasts are used to people, but we were lucky to also have a rare wild elephant who burst in through the scrub just as the rhino was making making a second pass for the day. The rhino ran for cover. Highly recommended.

Maruni Sanctuary Lodge is owned and managed by the famous KGH Group. MSL is located in one of the least disturbed areas of Chitwan National Park and offers excellent opportunities to view rare and endangered animals. MSL is located between two villages of the Rana Tharu Community, therefore you will also have the chance to engage culturally to the ethnic people of the region. The Park was designated as a World Heritage Site in 1984.
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, the staff was amazing , location was breathtaking. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Sauraha. They arranged all the safari for us ,it was easy for us to entertain without any hassle.

This Ecolodge is the first and only ecological hotel in Sauraha. It offers 12 naturals bedrooms and can host up to 30 guests. Each of our rooms is cozy and unique. The restaurant overlooks the garden and propose excellent food . Ideally located in the heart of the village of Sauraha, beside the Chitwan National Parc, Evergreen Ecolodge is a cocoon of nature in the village.
Evergreen Ecolodge is a nice place in Sauraha, where you really experience the jungle. The staff is really nice, and Suraj would love to help you with everything. We booked a two day walking safari through the hotel and this was amazing! They work with some great guides and we were lucky to have two really nice guides, whom we would definitely recommend?. After the safari we booked one more night at Evergreen Ecolodge, because we loved the vibe and wanted to relax in the nice garden. The rooms and the bathroom is really nice and the place is very cheap. Finally the food and especially the Organic Coffee is very good?.
