One of my favorite things about the Northern is the endless popcorn! But really, they have good apps, food and drinks. The food is reasonably priced and they have fun specials, taco Tuesday and wings Wednesday are my two favorites. If you're in the Chisago City/Lindstrom area stop in here, you can dine inside or on the deck.

When you enter Northwoods Roasterie, a cheerful barista welcomes you inside. Devoted customers converse over steaming cups of carefully brewed coffee. The cozy quarters overlook a full glass pane window into the roasting room. While the mood inside is instantly inviting, the true essence of a cup of coffee from Northwoods Roasterie is built on science precision and passion, starting with the bean.
The Coffee, the sandwiches, the yogurt, the treats but most of all the PEOPLE. Everyone greets you when you walk through the door and the staff ALWAYS have a smile on their faces. I love this shop and refuse to go anywhere else.

I had a breakfast special. It was very good, inexpensive, and the serving size was large enough to either share or take some home for later. Everyone here was very friendly! Very nice, small-town atmosphere. Would recommend and would visit again if in Lindstrom.
Cheers! :D

Dude behind the counter was a jerk. No matter though, the donuts made up for it. Best dang donuts I have ever had. We tried the glazed and plain Swedish donuts, both were great but the plain was the winner. Holy cow.

We arrived to our hotel too early to check in, and since it was nearby we decided to go to the DQ for a cool treat. We were waited on right away. Plenty of room to relax, and you can't beat the great DQ treats!

The burgers are bison. Beef on request. This is a small place with a small variety menu but they try to be inventive. The food is good but not a wow factor when we were there. The server was friendly but attentiveness was lacking. They seemed to be busy but it's a small place.

Local bar/restaurant with really great, reasonably priced food. So far I've tried the hamburger, steak & seafood, everything was awesome. Servers are very friendly & though the establishment is older & a little run-down, it's very clean.
You're hungry and you're on HWY 61, be sure to stop by the Rustic Inn. Check for afternoon hamburger $5 special!! Hamburgers with all the fixings plus fries included for $5! We added $2 to have their onion rings--and we loved them. Service was excellent , off the street parking and the bathrooms were clean. We'll be back!

Located in the heart of Wyoming, MN, the Cornerstone Pub & Prime has been tantalizing people's taste buds with mouth watering prime rib, steaks, and burgers as well as some of the best seafood fare around. Since 1989, this local watering hole has been a favorite gathering place for residents and visitors to the areas surrounding Forest Lake, North Branch, Chisago City, and Wyoming, all just minutes north of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Located on the corner of historic Highway 61 and Viking Blvd, just two blocks east of I-35, this restaurant and bar boasts a cherry hued dining room with a warm welcoming atmosphere.
Went here with another couple for all you can eat prime rib on Wednesday. ($19) You do get potato
& bread as well. I like my prime rib to be not overcooked & the first piece was cooked good but lacked flavor. The au jus helped a little. The second piece was more overcooked than I would have liked. Overall, not terrible. For the price not a bad deal. I don't think I'll be back to try it again though.

We've been coming here for years for breakfast or lunch. Breakfasts are always good, especially the build your own, makes you feel you can almost eat "healthy", Egg whites, fruit instead of something starchy for example. Lots of different choices. Order coffee and you get a pot. The club sandwich was good, served with a nice helping of fries. They have raspberry ice tea also. They offer a military discount too

"Absolutely great food, especially the broasted chicken and potatoes. They do not accept reservations but will accomodate large groups when possible. We love to eat here when traveling to MN. I highly recommend their food!"
Love the small town feel of this place. The kind that you wait for a table outside, with 20-30 others. Small bar with biz cards plastered all on the ceiling, good beer, drinks and apps.
Restaurant is small, cozy tables, and good home cooked meals.
Have only had burgers or fish/chips here, but they are good!
