The grand story of China features a great wall, a forbidden city, and a few thousand Terracotta warriors. Settings include the sci-fi skyline of Shanghai, the jutting peaks of Zhangjiajie, and the tropical beaches of Hainan, but the tale of this ancient kingdom began long ago.

I stayed in Qingdao for 9 days, all 9 in 7days inn. I was supposed to be in another hotel, but it was full, and this one had a room. If you expect somthing of high quality, then don't this hotel is good enough for stay, it's safe, warm in the winter, and on a good location close to the free economic zone. The desk stuff couldn't speak English well, all except one, but I didn't had any problems with it. In the close proximity you have KFC, Chinese food arround the Hotel, and 2 shopping malls which have pizzerias, restaurants etc. I was happy to pay 18 euros or so for one night, of course without breakfats. The Wifi and the pc they have in the hotel lobby isn't great working, but still you can use it.

The Holiday Inn Express Dujiangyan is an IHG “Express” Hotel - hence, you may not have too high expectations as the price is really inexpensive. The rooms are ok but certainly not high end.l and frequented by tourist groups. Nevertheless, I believe that it is a good choice to stay as service was very friendly and professional - surprisingly, the English skills of the staff was very good which is really helpful and appreciated.

My husband and I stayed at the Inn for 5 nights. Inn is located within walking distance of a few places of interest, like Statue of Fisher Girl, Lover Road, Shijingshan Mountain Scenic Area. Inn is also near bus station with easy access to Gongbei Checkpoint, Jiuzhou Ferry Terminal. If you choose to go by taxi, it is also not expensive, < 15 yuan to Gongbei and 10 yuan to Jiuzhou Ferry Terminal. There are also shopping complex opposite the Inn with fast food restaurant, including Kentucky. It is a no frills inn. For the price we paid, it is worth every cent. Inn's bed is firm and comfortable. Bed sheet is clean and crispy. Though our room is facing the road, it was not noisy. Most of the staff are very helpful, patient and friendly. They go all way out to help us in our planning of itinerary. We appreciate the yogurt/milk given every evening. Special thanks goes to the cook. We loved the healthy breakfast she prepared. We'll definitely stay there should we decide to visit Zhuhai again.

I chose this hotel on the recommendation of a friend and booked it through Agoda. While the location may have suited his needs, I didn't find it convenient for mine. I would advise craft beer travellers to find accommodations in the South Gate (Nanyuanmen) area which puts you within walking distance to Near Wall Bar/Xian Brewing, Master Gao, and the Webl Beer taproom. If you situate yourself close to the Yongningmen subway station, you can also quickly reach the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Xian Mai Brewery, amongst other attractions you are likely to visit. After walking a considerable distance in the heat of the afternoon with my luggage from where the airport shuttle had dropped us off (The woman at the shuttle airport counter told me my hotel was within walking distance. Not!), I found the 7 Days Inn at the end of a hutong. When I gave one of the front desk clerks my Agoda voucher to check in, she told me I was at the wrong hotel! Conferring with one of her colleagues, she then said I was at the correct hotel. Checking in was then without further incident. Note that if you have special needs that require more than the absolute minimum of communication with hotel staff, staying at a budget hotel rarely used by foreigners is not advisable. Getting a room at a hostel that is part of the Hostelling International network would be more suitable, as their understanding of English will be better. I was given a single room with king bed on the second floor. It was spacious, clean, and without strong odours. However, as you can see from the photos, the room was a little worse for wear and could have used some maintenance to better keep up the condition of the walls. Nevertheless, as the air conditioning and plumbing worked properly, I saw little point in trying to change rooms. As an inexpensive place to sleep and shower after a day of extensive exploring, it was acceptable. As is the case with many of these chain budget hotels, there was no wash cloth, the shower door leaked, they did not provide complimentary bottled water, and they had paper cups for making tea and brushing your teeth. Also, there was no soap on or near the sink, so you had to use the dispenser in the shower if you needed to wash your hands. Fortunately, during my stay, I had no problems with noisy neighbours or cigarette smoke seeping its way into the room. Despite the drawbacks of this hotel, I did find it interesting to observe the daily life in the surrounding neighbourhood. During my week-long stay, I never saw another foreigner in this hotel or its environs.

This is a budget hotel, and makes no pretenses about that. It's well designed to meet most travelers' needs, but everything is very simple and minimal. Very Very small rooms, so don't expect much. For the price it's not bad.

Everything is very near and easily approachable from the location of this hotel. breakfast was below average in quality and options and it was not complimentary. The hotel is over all clean. many visitors but the lift is only one and you have wait in the queu to get your chance to go up other wise take stairs and go. It is very economical hotel for short stay. you may find better options at the same location in the same price. Zhongyand street, sophia Temple are very near, taxi is easily available any time, stores are very near as it is located in the center of the downtown. I visited in January and it was so cold and the rooms were not warm enough. We asked the receptionists and made them understand with out bad Chinese to make our room warm enough.
