Inspired by the iconic food markets of Asia and Europe, with their vibrant atmosphere and abundant fresh produce, Hotel ICON presents a restaurant unlike any other. The Market's open kitchens serve international delights from antipasti to laksas to grille
The room is freezing- wear a jumper. The buffet is AUD $56 which is a ridiculous price for breakfast particularly considering the food was not great. The steamed dim sum offerings were all stone cold. The fruit selection was poor. The so called freshly made juices were freshly juiced carrots with other juices poorer in out of jugs. The tea was so weak I couldnât drink it. The yoghurt was terrible. There were other good things like made to order omelettes but not enough to compensate for the very high price. This hotel is absolutely great with amazing views and really lovely rooms. Itâs a shame the breakfast was such a let down.Dear louloubelleThank you very much for taking the time to share your review with us and bringing your unsatisfactory experience to our concern. We always strive to provide our guests with a memorable experience and I am sad to learn that the food and environment at The Market did not meet your expectations. Since July 2015 Helmed by Chef Chris Keung 8 course tasting menu inspired by Chef Keung's Western upbringing and his influences from around Asia
Tasting menu type restaurant (8 courses) where about 30 people sit around a horseshoe shaped bar and watch the food being prepared. Everything was delicious - especially liked the Japanese themed dishes and the brussell sprouts dish. Chris (Executive Chef) and the head chef (Vicky) both came and described some of the dishes and preparation which made the experience. Wine was great (if pricey) - the barman also makes a mean cocktail if you ask!

Hong Kong's very first fine buffet concept, The Verandah now offers an expanded gastronomic offering in glorified new surrounds. Originally opened in 1933, variety, quality and a wealth of culinary styles are the signatures of The Verandah, serving breakf
The Verandah restaurant is within the Peninisula Hotel in Hong Kong. The breakfast buffet is something I always look forward to each and every morning that I awake in Hong Kong. The beautiful breakfast buffet has so many options. Amazing pastries, fruits, salad, Japanese breakfast choices, Chinese food, a wonderful eggs and omelette bar with all types of sausages and meats. Great waffles. Etc The ambience is soothing and a wonderful way to start the day. This is also a lunch and dinner spot The best part besides the food is the service and attention to detail. I have dined here for about 5 years now and when I come to town the staff remembers my name even after months of not visiting. Sam and Tiffany are two that come to mind who make sure I am treated as if I am there everyday of the year . The things they do like when you get up to go get more food and when you return to the table the dirty plate is removed and the napkin refilled This is the way it should be in a restaurant and the staff here has been trained by the best. The service is spot on and they are there to take care of you and anything you desire. The experience is so enjoyable. And really sets the day in motion when you can start it off with a good meal and service that is flawless. Thanks to everyone in the Verandah for such a memorable food experience

I love bringing friends here for the high quality, delicious, beautiful lunch salad buffet. The beef pilaf soup today was amazing too. For ~200hkd, salad buffet, soup, artwork dessert and tea / coffee. 5 star service. (E.g. They folded my napkin when I used the restroom.)Clean bathroom with Japanese style toilets. Always a great experience here. Thank you!!

The original bao was the braised pork belly, shiso leek salad and sesame dressing. Since then, the bao has become the center stage and works as a vessel for all things delicious. Our menu spans Asian influences, small sharing plates and continually change

Clipper Lounge is a long-established favourite with Hong Kong locals and hotel guests alike and a wonderful place to meet at any time in the day. Clipper Lounge has a timelessly elegant feel with mink, taupe and mandarin furnishings enhanced with subtle O
Service amazing. Table was too bright - technicians brought in to dim the lights. One of our party allergic to seafood - Tim. Took him round and an highlighted menu sent to us. Typical top Mandarin service. Food was relentlessly served but you needed to be in it to win it. Fellow diners would pile 10-15 oysters or 4 lobsters on their plates exhausting the buffet quickly. Always replenished and speedily but you needed to time your runs!Highlights were the Hainan Chicken Rice, Grouper, soft shell crab. Wine kept away from the table - always a bugbear if mine unless their service is instantaneous. It was good but not that good! Old fashioned - ice bucket or carafe at table can work as well. Very enjoyable - we loved it. $5500 for 5 plus bottle of Chablis, carafe of red and 4 beers. A nice treat - although one had to compete for food!Dear W128,Thank you for choosing to dine at Clipper Lounge and for highlighting our buffet offerings and service. We are delighted to read that you enjoyed your overall dining experience. We hope to welcome you back in the near future.Sincerely,Michael GrollDirector of Food & BeverageMandarin Oriental, Hong Kong

Located in Wan Chai, The 50's Bar & Restaurant offers live music entertainment while you dine. A unique dining experience for music lovers and especially for the young-at-heart. Performing nightly, our in-house band, The Magic Touch, will swoon you with a
The restaurant had been moved to lyndhurst terrace last year. Food was good with very good price. Live band and you can request songs if you like during the dinner time. After 9, the band performed more lively music so that you can move your hips in the dancing floor. The best thing was they always played old songs, like 70s to 90s. Very good place if you are over 35. Of course, if you are young like hip hops, raps.... This is definitely not your place.

My husband and I ate at Cafe Gray Deluxe on many occasions during our stay in Hong Kong. Our two dinners, breakfasts, and lunch were absolutely delicious. The Caesar salad with shrimp was so good, I had it twice! Only wish I could could find one as tasty here at home. The restaurant is beautiful in both daylight and in the evening. Loved sitting at the windows overlooking the water. Staying at the Upper House our rate also included breakfast. Great restaurant whether you're staying in the hotel or not!We are delighted that you were able to visit Cafe Gray Deluxe throughout the various meal periods of the day and enjoyed each one!Its the crustacean mayo that makes our Caesar so delicious and we are thrilled you were able to tuck into on two separate occasions. We wish you safe travels home and hope to welcome you back to the "House" soon,With kind regards, yvonne

The Lounge & Bar at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong is an ideal all-day dining venue in Hong Kong for breakfast and lunch. Dine accompanied by a live band performance during afternoon tea and dinner.
Tosca and Tin Lung Heen are my favourite restaurants in Ritz but from time to time, I would like to visit the Lounge and Bar for its special seating arrangement for two-person window tables. Here, you and your friend can sit right next to each other, both facing the window to enjoy the gorgeous view. Food is fine without a wow, and service, well, you have to try your luck.On 14 September, a rare sunny day in the month, I went there to have lunch with a friend. It all started well when the nice restaurant manager escorted me to my seat. However, the service standard didn't maintain. During the meal, we turned around several times to get somebody and there was once a waiter signaled that he saw us, and then, went somewhere else without returning. In the end, a young man Edward Wong approached us. His gentle manner and smile made it clear that, although still green, he was doing his best to serve his customers. I heard that he had been working there for only four months and I sincerely hope that his enthusiasm won't fade with time.Dear tkhkhk,Many thanks for taking time to review The Lounge and Bar at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong.I am very happy to read your enjoyable experience with us. Our team will always improve our service, and hope to provide you more memorable experience and welcome you back to The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong soon.Yours sincerely, Philip HowardManager â The Lounge and BarThe Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong
