It serves as both the capital of the department of Chimaltenango and the municipal seat for the surrounding municipality of the same name. My family from out of town, my family, and friends went to brunch at Panza Verde. It was amazing! Everything was delicious! Our eggs benedict with portobello mushrooms were out of this world. Their mimosas are very good. The staff was extremely accommodating. As we were a big group, we needed to shuffle around some tables. There was no problem with doing that. Overall a great experience and will definitely be back!!

A good mexican restaurant in Antigua Guatemala. They offer tacos, burritos quesadillas and enchiladas, nicely served. The place is very small so it is hard to find a table for a party grater than 4.Thank you very much for your wonderful comments! The fresh, creative, and memorable dishes at Quiltro are delightfully quixotic, in no small part because of how unexpectedly unique the combinations of otherwise simple flavors were in each dish. The chef and his team masterfully combined typical/traditional Guatemalan ingredients and flavors in a way that tastes simultaneously familiar and exotic. This is not a meal that will blow your tastebuds away; itâs better than that. Itâs a meal thatâs notable because of its subtleness, extreme attention to detail, thoughtful presentation, and purity of form and flavor. What a delightful find in Antigua!!

Just off the Plaza Central, this place had excellent food and top notch service. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting and we felt right at home. For the gringo travelers, the menu is in English and the waiters speak passable English. Highly recommend it!

I was here for a repeat visit and it was just as delicious. It is the tiniest place. Make a reservation because you will need it. The menu is a little more extensive this year. If you sit upstairs be prepared to climb the stairs. But that is half the fun. Thanks for a great dinner!

Excellent attentive service and wonderful food! Great ambiance. Ordered two starters, specials of the evening and two fabulous desserts. With a bottle of wine, bill came to 900 quetzals. Doesnât feel touristy at all. Menu in English and spanish. Would highly recommend!

My husband and I came here for dinner. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. We got margaritas, grilled octopus, and chicken tacos. The food was good. Service also good. The only thing I didnât like is that they let outside vendors come in. There was a little boy selling candy table to table. The music was also shut off for a few minutes while a guy with a karaoke machine sang loudly in the front and then came around asking for money. Maybe this is common in other restaurants too, or they didnât have much of a choice, but either way it made the experience not as great. Hello, thank you for your kind review! I am very pleased you liked our food and margaritas. Indeed itâs difficult for us the vendors problem. I do think is a problem but sometimes even some clients call them and itâs embarrassing for us to send them out. With this review I definitely will put more attention to this problem. The grounds of this place are beautifully landscaped with tropical plants and flowers; there is a nice playground for children on the lawn. You can smell the delicacies cooking in the outdoor smoker. Some of the cleanest restrooms you will ever behold are just outside the dining room. Inside is an ambience and warmth you would find in the home of a friend. Monica and company are SO welcoming and nice. Her parents are from Switzerland and she speaks several languages. The wine selection is better than most, and they have the little splits which are perfect for lunch. The local cuisine is out of this world, tasty, and excellent. I had some scrumptious chicken and my companions had beef. We started out with a tasty home made soup. I would love to go back there and try other menu items.
