Dazzling fjords and vertiginous Andean peaks cover Chile's best-known region, turning this slim swath of land into a playground for skiing, whitewater rafting and trekking. To the north lies San Rafael Lagoon National Park with its impressive ice fields. In Patagonia's southern stretch, the city of Punta Arenas is the gateway to Torres del Paine National Park, which attracts serious climbers and casual day hikers to its granite peaks, glaciers and waterfalls.
Things to do in Chilean Patagonia

My wife and I only stayed here for one night during a road trip throughout Patagonia. It was everything we were looking for: close walk to the main square, very clean!, chic, and the host was so incredibly hospitable. The breakfast he makes you the next morning is great! So much food, freshly brewed coffee on the wood stove, just a perfect start to another long day of travel :) Just a heads-up, there are a ton of stray dogs in this town and they howl and bark until about 2am. You'll hear them no matter what place you stay.

The hotel is very nice, the room was big and comfortable and I liked the design a lot. The host is a very nice person, friendly and patient and the food was delicious. I had a feeling I was part of the family and I could ask for everything I need and want. One of the best (if not the best) places I have ever stayed!!! Thank you, Juan! <3

Our hostel is a simple design where rescued the essence of wood consists of 4 rooms with private bathroom, 2 beds of 1.05 * 2.00 mt.hair dryer, wardrobe, safe, central heating, toiletries, towels, bed linen, private parking, common kitchen rate with breakfast included, terrace with nice view to the Strait of Magellan and island Tierra del Fuego
The setting is nice for the view but older folks will not appreciate the climb back to their room. The price was a little above other mid priced hotel rooms that were closer to el centro, restaurants, and other attractions. The room was neat and clean but I was unhappy to be charged for a broken bathroom fixture that was cheaply made and partially broken before our arrival.

This hotel has a good location, just across the border into Chile and a 90 minute drive to Torres del Paine national park. We stayed a single night on our way to the park. Note the roads are under construction and once completed, the drive should be less than an hour. The hotel feels very new and is nicely decorated. The bar and reception are very comfortable and a great spot for a drink. Our room had a large and comfy bed, and the bathroom was modern with a good shower. There was good wifi in reception. We had dinner in the restaurant - this was buffet with good choices. Breakfast was equally tasty with a good selection of breakfast foods. The staff were helpful and friendly and it was also nice to walk around the village. I highly recommend this hotel if you are on your way to Torres del Paine. Compared to the options in the park, this place was very well priced.

We stayed here one night before flying. Angelo made us very welcome. It is an unusual place, but clear and tidy. Angelo even cooks a basic meal if requested. Reminded us of an 1970s Engligh house. Would've have been happy to stay longer.

I stayed here for one night from 25-26FEB2019 and felt it was a good value. For $80 USD we got a private room with two single beds and a private bathroom. The manager was very kind and recommended a great seafood restaurant after we checked in. The breakfast in the morning looked good, but we didn't have time for more than coffee since we had an early bus to catch. The best part of the hotel is that it's located between the bus stop and the city center where most of the shopping and restaurants are located. So it's walking distance to both. Buses in Chile are very well-run, so using this hotel in conjunction with bus transportation makes a lot of sense. We stayed here after completing the W Trail in Torres del Paine, so it was great for that adventure, but I don't know that there's a whole lot to do in Punta Arenas otherwise. I recommend this hotel!

Location is very good - right by the seashore and around 5 minutes walk from the main streets. Breakfest was fresh and tasty. Wi-Fi worked really well. Staff tried to be helpful and was very nice, yet they didnt speak English. Hotel building is cozy and well maintained. I think that we were just not lucky in terms of the room we got. Actually it was not in the hotel building but outside of it and the conditions were not very good - room as well as bathroom were small and not appealing so our stay was not super comfortable. Looking at the hotel pictures and reality I believe that unfortunately we did not get the room we booked... As we paid less than we were supposed to, I am still giving rather positive / neutral review.
