We visited Creativa Barista for lunch and coffee. The coffee was good, albeit basic, with room for improvement on barista skills (milk texturing / art), Chemex / V60 options, and perhaps some variety in the range of beans on offer. That said, it stacks up well compared to other coffee houses in Punta Arenas. The food was excellent and very well priced. Simple but tasty, well presented, healthy, and solid portions that don't go overboard. Desserts looked excellent although we didn't try them. What we appreciated most was the stellar service, by the staff and owner. In a country that doesn't seem to have much of a service culture, this was a pleasant surprise and a breath of fresh air.If they shore up their barista skills with a bit of extra training, this place will be a 5/5. Regardless, we would gladly return, and if we lived here this would be a regular spot.

We were exploring the nice city of Puerto Arenas just off our Celebrity Infinity cruise arrival when we had to have caffeine. A very nice young lady passing by handed us a flyer and voila, here we went. Carola, our waitress, a local exchange student recently back home from her studies in Chicago, welcomed and took great care of us. Her English is excellent! The coffees and toast were perfect.

As we came back to town from a morning excursion, we came into have a late breakfast or early lunch.(12:15) They limited the menu to ONLY pizzas. We asked if we could have crepes or sandwiches that were offered on the menu but they insisted only on pizza. We ordered the pizza, the first one was good, the second one that had come out was burnt and difficult to eat, and the third one was alright. In addition to the pizza we had ordered coffee, when we looked over they had a fairly nice espresso machine, but instead used a smaller machine with pre-filled capsules of some sort. The coffee was not good, and not made to the order we specified. Wish we had good experience like other reviews, but the service had been the biggest issue. I would recommend looking elsewhere in town.

The prelude to an unforgettable experience. Shackleton Bar & Coffee of the Jose Nogueira Hotel, a place for people who appreciate a varied list of drinks and snacks in a centenary salon. In August 1914, Sir Ernest Shackleton set out on board of the Endura
Nice interiors - leather chairs, fine woodwork and paintings related to Shackletonâs journey and visit to hotel. Got there at 6 pm hoping the place would be empty. So it was. There was no one in the Bar. However, various events (meetings and celebrations) were happening in the adjoining rooms. The barman was busy pouring wine and champagne in scores of glasses and waiters were rushing around and had no time to even look at me. After waiting for 15 minutes, I left. Sharing some of the paintings on the walls.

Currently it works daily as an extension of our Shackleton Bar and its menu, and we have a daily menu of three-course at lunch and dinner, for another service must be requested with 24 hrs in advance, we can book a prearranged menu. At the Braun mansion,
A smallish room but clean and perfectly adequate. Helpful reception. Reasonable breakfast (though not too exciting) and was taken aback to see waitress filling up fresh fruit bowl with pineapple while pushing back the other cut fruit with her bare hands. Also found a fly in my raspberry juice (which I hadnât drunk!). Central location and most âsightsâ seemed to be within walking distance. Sara Braun palace was part of the hotel building and could be visited through the hotel.
