Arrived at the original Tamita Ramen shop around 8:30 am after reading stories about having to arrive early to get a ticket to try their famous ramen. But the worker outside said they are not handing out tickets anymore. Instead they told us to either come back at 4pm or go down the street to their new 'canteen' location which opens at 10:00 am. So we decided to go eat at the branch location. The first bite was very memorable. Nothing like what i have tasted before. But we could not finish because they do give a lot of ramen noodles which sit in your stomach...and the fishiness of the broth was a little too strong. But good that we tried this famous ramen as it's a unique experience.

Where I usually go is a branch of this restaurant in LalaPort Kashiwa-no-ha. Its Abura-soba has rather thick noodle and it goes well with the spicy oil. The meat in the bowl is not my favorite but the rest is very addictive! My recommendation is an Abura-soba with spicy ball.
